Deploying the Dragon Race "bombers" to deal with Delong Castle's Protective Shield was part of the plan all along.
However, the specific method for doing so was only confirmed after Zog spoke with Figxin.
This was because the City Guard Array here hadn't been activated in over a hundred years.
Its exact condition could only be assessed after it was deployed.
The goal was to avoid causing too much damage within the city.
In the future, Delong Castle was to become a fortress for the Northern Domain, meant to resist the counterattacks of the Sutton Royal Family's army for some time. If they demolished the entire city now, it would be useless.
At the same time, they also had to avoid excessive harm to civilians; this was a crucial code of conduct for the Northern Legion as an "Army of Justice."
This distinguished them from those old-fashioned armies with their sordid records.
It both won the hearts of the people and reduced the loss of their labor force.
