Insecure people are used to putting on a front.

But Grace pointed directly at a row of machines and asked.
The machine was spitting out colorful, sparkling, and delicate threads, which were wrapped around a wooden stick, forming a large, fluffy ball that looked like cotton.
She had truly never seen one before.
Grace had never been to Zog Cinema either, but her reasons for not coming were slightly different from Peter's.
And she wasn't insecure.
"Oh, that's cotton candy," the staff member explained with a smile.
"Young man, would you like to buy one for the beautiful lady beside you?"
"I..."
Peter didn't know how to answer for a moment.
But Grace spoke up directly, "No, *I'm* buying one for the handsome gentleman beside me. Can you make it heart-shaped?"
"Haha, you two are so sweet together."
Two minutes later, Peter was standing there awkwardly, holding a huge, pink, heart-shaped cotton candy.
