"It smells amazing!"
Song Zhining turned the crank on the roasting rack Su Qing had made himself.
The meat on it was almost done.
"Don't be impatient. We've already waited for an hour. I'll just brush it with sauce one more time and let it roast a little longer, then it'll be ready," Su Qing said patiently.
As for Song Zhining's "help," it was really just turning the roasting rack.
This kept the meat from burning.
Meanwhile, Su Qing stood to the side, brushing on his homemade sauce.

Song Zhining started eating along with Su Qing.
He seemed to have let himself go, his mouth slick with grease.
Su Qing was much the same.
He had a huge appetite to begin with, and the feeling of taking big bites of meat was incredibly satisfying.
Song Zhining took a jug out of his Storage Ring and started drinking.
It seemed to be wine.
