While the couple was being lovey-dovey in the snow, the people in the living room were gossiping like there was no tomorrow. Cecilia Ashworth and a few others were practically glued to the French doors, trying to catch a glimpse of some sizzling passion.
Seeing his girlfriend practically pressing herself against the glass, Jean Reginald couldn't help but chuckle. He walked over and pulled her back. "Stop looking. We're too far from the yard to see anything."
"Jean's right. You guys are about to turn into geckos," Jasper Ashworth teased, looking at Jasmine Blaine and Anya Reginald, who were still squatting in front of the French doors.
Anya Reginald, who had been about to move away, caught sight of the couple walking back in the distance and yelled excitedly, "Here they come! They're back!"
Her ecstatic expression, as if she'd just won a massive lottery prize, earned her disdainful looks from everyone else in the living room. 'Is there something wrong with this girl?'
