"In your dreams! That's impossible." 'So, that's what this old geezer was after. No wonder he was so insistent on meeting Seraphina. So that was his plan all along. He can keep dreaming!'
"How is it impossible? Mr. Ashworth, what's so wrong with my grandson? Tell me how he isn't good enough for your granddaughter!" Mr. Blackwood retorted, all fired up, his voice booming with vigor.
'My grandson is handsome and exceptionally talented,' he thought. 'He's in no way inferior to the scions of the Ashworth Family. How could it be impossible?'
"It's just impossible," Mr. Ashworth shot back, refusing to yield.
Watching the two of them bicker like children, Zachary Ashworth and his brother exchanged a smile. 'If an outsider saw this, they'd be scared to death. Who would've imagined two men of such high status arguing like a couple of kids?'
