Seeing her little plan foiled so easily, Seraphina Ashworth felt her lips twitch. It looked like this man was dead set on seeing what she had.
The moment she was distracted, Caden Reginald moved with lightning speed, snatching the shopping bag she had hidden behind her back. Seeing the bag taken from her, Seraphina Ashworth spun around to flee. She had no desire to stick around and appreciate these things with him.
"Gwen, why the hurry to leave?" Caden Reginald chuckled, his voice husky. He reached out with his free hand and pulled her fleeing form right into his arms. "Won't you stay and take a look with me?"
"No, thanks! You can admire them by yourself. I'm going to go take a shower," Seraphina Ashworth said, struggling. But his grip was too strong, and she couldn't break free.
THUD—
As Seraphina Ashworth struggled in Caden Reginald's arms, she accidentally knocked the shopping bag from his hand, and its contents instantly spilled all over the floor.
