"I wonder what it is? My older brother and the others were called back by Grandpa, too!" Anya Reginald said quizzically, her chin resting in her hands.
"Did Grandpa not say what it was?" Seraphina Ashworth asked slowly, her slender fingertips tapping gently on the table.
Cecilia Ashworth shook her head. "No," she said lightly. "It seems pretty important, though. Grandpa said he'll tell us tomorrow evening, once everyone has arrived."
Just as Aurora Reginald was about to say something, she was interrupted by a ringing phone.
"Lira, what is it?" Seraphina Ashworth saw the name "Lira" on the screen and tapped her phone to answer.
"Miss, it's bad! Something's happened at the Nether-prison!" Lily Ashworth's panicked voice came through the phone.
Hearing this, the color in Seraphina Ashworth's eyes deepened. Lily Ashworth was usually level-headed and would never be this frantic. 'If she's this anxious, it must be serious.'
