"Ah! This has nothing to do with me!" A shrill scream escaped Chloe's lips. She had just turned to run but was caught by Lochlan Knight after only a few steps and hauled directly in front of Seraphina Ashworth.
Chloe was pinned firmly to the ground, her struggles completely useless.
"What do you think you're doing? None of this has anything to do with me! You have no right to treat me like this!" Chloe lifted her head and glared viciously at Seraphina Ashworth, her voice hysterical.
A slight smile touched Seraphina Ashworth's lips, her eyes gleaming. "Nothing to do with you? Are you sure?" Her light tone carried an undercurrent of coldness and bloodlust, and an invisible, deathly aura emanated from her, enveloping everyone present.
