After getting her emotions under control, Sylvia Sterling took a deep breath and answered the phone.
"Hello?"
Even though she tried to hide the sob in her throat, Jude Langley clearly caught the weak, hoarse quality of her voice.
The line was silent for two seconds.
Jude Langley's tone was as normal as ever. "Not at the office yet?"
"Just got downstairs." Sylvia Sterling tilted her head back, a stray tear rolling from the corner of her eye. "What's up?"
"I have something for you. Your father also asked me to discuss something, so I'll be there soon. Wait for me at the office."
"Alright."
After hanging up, Sylvia Sterling sat motionless in her car.
