「The next day.」
Stella Sterling went to work with Roman Rhodes as usual.
In the car, Stella glanced at him several times, her eyes filled with surprise.
"Did you… not sleep well last night?"
As she asked, she leaned closer and gently poked the corner of his eye. "You have such dark circles."
Roman Rhodes's expression relaxed. "Jet lag. I had a bit of insomnia."
Stella seemed to believe him. She advised him with concern, "Then you should drink less coffee today. If you're not busy, go home early and catch up on sleep."
The man stared at her lovely, radiant face.
After a long moment, he spoke in a deep voice, "When you have your list of schools, show it to me."
"Okay, I will."
Speaking of choosing a school, Stella couldn't help but mention a few business schools she was interested in.
Hadrian University, Blackwood University, Kingswood College…
None of them were in the country or on Vesper Island.
Roman Rhodes's gaze was gentle. "Starting next fall?"
