The video call lasted for about ten minutes.
Roman Rhodes received another call. Before hanging up, he reminded her, "Don't schedule any work for next weekend."
Stella Sterling was used to this. "Okay."
Her company was now finding its stride.
And Roman Rhodes's Port Affairs project was about to break ground.
They would only get busier from now on.
The weekends were the only free time they'd have to see each other and be a couple.
At this thought, Stella Sterling sighed in resignation.
'We're like a weekend couple.'
Meanwhile.
After Roman Rhodes ended the video call, he called his mother, Mrs. Rhodes, back.
Mrs. Rhodes's voice was gentle and warm. "Are you busy? I hope I'm not disturbing you."
The man lit a cigarette and replied calmly, "No. Is something wrong, Mom?"
Mrs. Rhodes chuckled. "Mr. Bell just called me. Are you hosting a family dinner next weekend?"
"That's the plan."
"For Sterling?"
Roman Rhodes didn't deny it. "I'll be bringing her with me."
