Less than three minutes later.
Mr. Sterling's call came suddenly. "Did you see it? Our little girl said in the group chat that she's bringing her boyfriend home tomorrow."
"I saw." Mrs. Sterling lost all interest in her beauty treatment. "I'm going home to ask her about it. That girl, she's always so impulsive and reckless."
Mr. Sterling mulled it over for a few seconds. "I have some things to take care of at the office. I'll rush back as soon as I'm done."
Mrs. Sterling agreed and ended the call.
She hurriedly changed her clothes and left the salon.
「Meanwhile.」
After dinner, Stella received a call from Mrs. Sterling summoning her home.
Roman Rhodes walked her out. Just before she got in the car, he cupped the back of her head, leaned in, and whispered in her ear, "Wait for me tomorrow."
Stella's eyes curved into crescents. "Mm, I'll wait for you."
After Stella left.
