After finishing her work, Stella Sterling had an idea: she'd pop over to Sino-Capital Tower for a visit.
Otherwise, with only calls and no face-to-face meetings every day, it was starting to feel like an online relationship.
Just as Stella was about to act on her impulse, Leah Rhodes walked over, holding two lunch boxes.
"Stella, your lunch."
"Huh? Did you order this for me?"
Leah shook her head. "Miles asked me to bring it to you."
Stella took the boxes, her curiosity piqued.
She opened them to find two steamed custard buns and a few of Calderin's specialty dishes.
Stella rummaged around but couldn't find a takeout receipt.
Still curious, she called Miles to ask where the lunch had come from.
Miles explained, "Miss Sterling, Mrs. Chester prepared it. She's been learning to cook Calderin cuisine and said that since you haven't been over in a while, she wanted me to bring you some for lunch to try."
