Half an hour later.
The business van pulled into the underground garage of Sino-Capital Tower.
Brandon Coleman got out of the car first, holding a folder.
Stella Sterling glanced sideways at Roman Rhodes and asked with feigned seriousness, "What time are we leaving tonight?"
The man eyed her, teasing, "Not calling me Mr. Rhodes anymore?"
"You've got some nerve." Stella Sterling's serious facade shattered in a second as she laughingly threw herself at him. "If you had told me earlier you were meeting with my dad, I wouldn't have gone to his office."
Just great.
Her relationship with Roman Rhodes wasn't public yet.
Instead, her dad had gone and assigned them the generational roles of 'uncle and niece'.
She could only hope that when her dad found out the truth later, he'd be strong enough to handle it.
Roman Rhodes caught her small frame as she fell into him, a deep, magnetic laugh rumbling in his throat. "My fault. I didn't see your message during the meeting."
