Holly Sinclair froze for a moment.
After a brief moment of shock, Ms. Beatrice instinctively glanced at Holly Sinclair.
Seeing Holly standing there dumbfounded, she quickly said, "Ma'am, you must have seen wrong. That couldn't have been Mr. Sterling—"
She trailed off, realizing she was only making things worse.
Holly didn't say a word.
Her expression was calm, showing neither joy nor anger.
The calmer she was, the more worried Ms. Beatrice became. "Ma'am..."
'The missus must be heartbroken.'
'Her own husband doesn't have time to accompany her to a prenatal checkup, but he has time to be all lovey-dovey with his mistress.'

'Just the other day, he told Miss Linton right in front of the missus to behave herself and not to parade around in front of her.'
