"Tristan! Save me, I really don't want to die!"
Vivian Linton, however, shouted even louder.
Tristan Sterling turned back to look at Holly Sinclair.
Holly Sinclair had curled into a ball, the abdominal pain unbearable.
'Even the cruelest father wouldn't harm his own child,' she thought. 'Surely, even if Tristan doesn't love me, he wouldn't leave me and our baby to die after finding out I'm pregnant.'
"Please, Tristan, I'm begging you. For the time I saved your life, please save me."
Tears streamed down Vivian Linton's face as she lowered her voice, pleading desperately.
Tristan Sterling frowned.
"Tristan, a life for a life. If you save me today, your debt to me will be paid in full."
Seeing the hesitation still lingering in his eyes, Vivian Linton steeled herself and decided to play her final card: the life debt.
'Whatever. I just need to trick him into leaving first.'
'Once Holly bleeds to death, Tristan will be all mine again!'
