"Aren't there guards posted over there? How could someone get inside, open the safe, and take your phone…?" an older woman with short hair asked in disbelief.
"Exactly. I'm curious, too. This place is covered in surveillance cameras, and the bodyguards at the door were only gone for a minute. How could someone have gotten to my phone? And without being spotted by the cameras inside?"
Quentin Rowe scanned the room, an incredulous look on his face. "Too bad there were no valuable clues on my phone. You all went to a lot of trouble for nothing…"
Stella Lockwood frowned. 'This can't be right. Hanson came back with false intel, and it looks like he was set up.'
"Tell me, one by one, what were you all doing just now?" Quentin Rowe sat back in his seat, idly cracking his knuckles. He pointed casually at the little girl, Melody Morgan. "Little one, why don't you tell me? What were these ladies here doing?"
