While carefully using scissors to separate her blood-soaked clothes from the wound, Mei Fan glanced up at his nephew and admitted sheepishly, "The kid takes after his parents. His dad is two meters tall, and his mom is one-seventy."
Hong Xue scooped up Bai Yunyun and said, "Don't cry, sweetie. Come on, give me a smile."
She overheard their conversation. Her own clothes were relatively clean, just dusty. The interaction between these two little kids was hilarious, though it was a shame Bai Yunyun was clearly a bit uncomfortable with it.
Speaking pulled at the wound in her mouth, and she hissed softly.
With tears in her eyes, Bai Yunyun forced a sweet smile that revealed two deep dimples. She looked worriedly at Hong Xue, wondering where she was hurt.
