"Seraphina Sterling! Breathe! Keep your breathing steady! You'll be fine! Absolutely nothing will happen to you! I won't let it!" Terrence Grant swept her up and carried her straight back to the car. The Freak Doctor immediately started first aid.
"I knew you'd find me... Don't worry, I'll survive." Seraphina Sterling's face was ashen, her voice a fragile whisper, as if each breath could be her last.
Terrence Grant felt his heart clench in agony. The sight of the crimson blood seared his eyes. Her frame was so small, yet she had lost so much blood! It was as if her body was being drained dry.
"How is she?"
"Not good. Her blood isn't clotting fast enough. At this rate, even if we give her all the blood we have, it won't be enough!" The Freak Doctor was drenched in nervous sweat. The Young Master's expression was terrifying; he couldn't bear to imagine what would become of him if something happened to Seraphina Sterling.
