She had finally managed to escape. She thought the whole ordeal was over, but she never imagined it was just the beginning.
The assistant drove them home.

"Please, you need to get over here right away. President Forrester is having an episode."
The person on the other end from the hospital sounded extremely urgent, leaving no room for hesitation.
The assistant had neither the time nor the inclination to delay. He scrambled to rush off in the other direction.
He felt like he was being pulled in two directions.
He had to hurry to the hospital, or who knew what kind of vicious cycle would start if he was late.
"What's wrong with Jason Forrester? How come I don't know? Why is he suddenly having an episode and no one told me?"
"So, what should we do now?"
Megan Kane was in disbelief. 'So the man really *is* sick, and no one ever told me.'
They had mentioned something before, but wasn't it just ordinary anxiety?
