By the time Ophelia arrived, Kohen and Dan'er were already severely injured.
"Stop it! Stop!" Wendy cried out, tears streaming down her face at the sight of her brothers getting hurt.
Ophelia's cheeks flushed red with anger. Unlike the level-headed Kohen, Dan'er was much more impulsive. He shook himself, attempting to shift into his beast form. A faint light glowed from his slightly parted mouth.
Ophelia noticed it, and her heart sank. She thought, "Oh no."
Lobak, being the closest to Dan'er, also noticed his unusual state and saw Kohen's expression darken. Pressing his lips tightly together, he fended off the attacks of the other male cubs while rushing toward Dan'er.
