Kane couldn't react in time and flinched violently. The insulated thermos she was holding was knocked to the ground. The container was well-insulated, and scalding hot porridge splashed onto her arm and the top of her foot, instantly contorting her features in pain.
Meanwhile, everyone in the hospital room was dumbfounded.
The old woman was so angry she almost leaped out of her hospital bed!
