In a sense, an Inscription Master was also a type of Array Master. An Inscription Talisman was essentially just an Array, but on a much smaller scale, so it didn't require much True Essence. Large-scale Arrays, on the other hand, required one to be at least a Postnatal Expert to even begin studying them.
