At this moment, the Tenth Prince also noticed Lann Yunyue. He'd mistaken her for a maid at first, but her exquisite clothes made it obvious he was wrong. "You are... Lann Yunyue?"
Lann Yunyue snapped back to her senses and curtsied to the Tenth Prince. "This humble commoner, Lann Yunyue, greets Prince Yun."
The Tenth Prince sized up Lann Yunyue, then snorted coldly. "Quite the pure and pitiful act! No wonder even Lin Ming was captivated by you. A real shame. If Lin Ming still had any feelings for you, you'd be of great use. But now... just looking at you pisses me off."
The Tenth Prince's words were merciless, and Lann Yunyue's face turned pale. What girl could endure being spoken to like that?
"Get out," the Tenth Prince said, waving a dismissive hand at Lann Yunyue.
Lann Yunyue bit her lip, fighting back tears as she bowed and excused herself.
After Lann Yunyue had gone, the Tenth Prince dismissed his attendants, leaving only himself and Vermilion Flame in the room.
