Here are four new chapters, totaling twelve thousand characters. I wrote through the climax in one go, and now Cocoon is asking for a monthly ticket!
I've said it before: three years, three books. Each book, a footprint.
My first book, *World of Warcraft: Strange World Storm*, was a gaming novel. Its performance was very average. But, I dare say that of all the Dota-themed novels on Qidian—and even all novels truly set in the Warcraft universe—mine was the most successful, combining all official digital readership from the website and mobile platforms.
Countless authors on Qidian have tried to write Dota-themed novels, but due to the niche subject matter and low number of official readers, most of them ended up as eunuchs. When it first became a paid novel, Cocoon's only had 314 subscriptions in the first 24 hours. That number is utter garbage! I still had a day job at the time, but I persevered! In the end, it reached 2.8 million clicks on Qidian and 9.4 million on mobile.
