Hearing this, Timothy York just gave a faint laugh and said, "Home? One should always come home, no matter when."
Mr. York's eyes rested on his face. After a moment of silence, he spoke again. "I know you've been in a bad mood lately. People get emotional, after all. Vent a little and get it over with, but you must remember not to go too far."
Timothy York tilted his head up slightly to meet Mr. York's gaze and said, "I always take your teachings to heart, Grandfather."
"In that case, sever any relationship that shouldn't continue. And do it soon," Mr. York said slowly.
Timothy York maintained his faint smile. "The relationships in this world are tangled and complex. What relationship can be ended just by saying it should be?"
At that moment, a chilling glint finally appeared in Mr. York's otherwise calm eyes.
After another moment, he spoke again. "There's no need to rush your answer. I will give you some time."
