Mason Crawford froze at the question. A flicker of shock was unmistakable in his dark, somber eyes.
But Summer Thorne couldn't be bothered to wait for him to recover. She turned and walked away.
Mason Crawford stood rooted to the spot, watching Summer Thorne's retreating back as she left without a second glance. He still seemed unable to process the question she had just asked.
"Mr. Crawford?" Sidney Tate called out softly, handing him his phone.
Mason Crawford glanced down and saw an incoming call from Laura Thorne.
He answered the call as he finally began to walk away.
Once they had left the cemetery and were in the car, Sidney Tate turned around from the passenger seat to report to Mason Crawford, "She drove away right after leaving the cemetery. Leo Morgan had left even earlier. The two of them didn't meet again."
