Timothy York looked at her and asked back, "Should I say I'm afraid, or that I'm not?"
Summer Thorne met his gaze quietly for a moment. Thinking back on everything that had happened, she said in a low voice, "You're braver than anyone. You wouldn't be afraid."
Hearing this, Timothy York raised his hand and gently brushed aside the long hair hanging by her ear.
He seemed satisfied with her answer, yet he also looked worried about something. He watched her for a long time before slowly speaking, "What about you?"
"What about me?" Summer Thorne didn't catch his meaning at first.
"Are you brave?" Timothy York asked.
Summer Thorne raised an eyebrow slightly. "What do you think?"
Timothy York said in a low voice, "I hope you can be even braver."
"Why?" Summer Thorne asked. "Are those things about you that frightening?"
The topic had suddenly shifted to a point they were both very concerned about.
The room was suddenly plunged into silence.
