Hugh Nash's mind was still a mess. Seeing Summer Thorne about to leave, he panicked. He threw all caution to the wind and lunged forward to grab her.
But before he could get close to Summer Thorne, the man who had been standing by the steps suddenly took two steps back while on the phone, bumping right into Hugh Nash again and once more separating him from Summer Thorne.
After this happened twice in a row, Hugh Nash exploded with anger. "Are you fucking blind?"
"My apologies, I really didn't see you," the man said, apologizing immediately.
