A glint appeared in Bai Rongrong's eyes. She knew Bai Su ran the restaurant on the summit and figured she must have a keen interest in gourmet food.
She confidently strode toward the pair in their secluded corner and blocked Bai Su's path. "Sister."
Bai Su jumped in surprise, her drooping rabbit ears shooting straight up.
Lu Tingyan patted her reassuringly, then glared at the person before them. "Who are you?"
Bai Rongrong broke into a sweet smile and chirped, "Hello, brother-in-law!"
Lu Tingyan's expression softened slightly.
Bai Su gave the young woman a strange look. "You're... from the Bai family?"
Bai Rongrong smiled and nodded. "That's right! I've been wanting to meet you for so long, Sister, but I never had the chance. I'm so glad I finally can today!"
"I heard you opened a restaurant up on the summit, Sister? It must be very popular. I'm so jealous that you get to interact with so many commoners every day. Could I come and try it sometime?"
