Bai Su nodded. "Yeah, I've slimmed down a bit. It's healthier."
Lu Tingyan didn't say anything more upon hearing this. He offered a couple of perfunctory replies and left in a hurry.
Bai Su looked down at her figure, then glanced in the direction Lu Tingyan had left and tutted.
The System suddenly spoke up. 'You don't have to be so hung up on whether he's the female lead's future man. He has nothing to do with the female lead right now; he's technically single. There's no conflict at all if you have a child with him.'
Bai Su: 'Morally, it's not an issue, of course. But what I'm afraid of is the female lead's halo effect.'
The System couldn't help but whisper, 'How do you know you don't have a female lead's halo?'
Bai Su: 'I do?'
System: 'Not at the moment, but you can snatch it back.'
Bai Su was taken aback. 'Snatch it back? What do you mean? The female lead's halo was never mine, so how can you call it snatching it back?'
