"Get off…" Wen Qian tried to shake her arm free.
She couldn't.
"No!" the Little Fox said, sweeping his wagging tail against her.
The fluffy fox fur was warm and comfortable as it brushed against her, and Wen Qian subconsciously narrowed her eyes. Before she could even react, she was pulled into an embrace by the now-human Qi Ke.
Her face instantly flushed red. He didn't even give her time to get angry before he reached back and switched off the bedside lamp.
The boy looked obedient, but he was actually quite rebellious. When Wen Qian pushed him, he only held her tighter, eventually even wrapping his tail snugly around her.
Enveloped in the boy's warmth, Wen Qian soon felt drowsy. She closed her eyes… and quickly fell asleep.
Moonlight slipped through a gap in the curtains, gently spilling into the quiet room. The boy held the woman tightly in his arms, painting a serene and beautiful picture.
