Chapter 1 - DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM

Core Principle: Reward for overcoming. It does not give anything for free; it only records real, hard-earned achievements of body and spirit. The main driver of progress here is not experience from victories, but a unique currency: Will Points (WP). There are no quests, magical abilities, or inventory.

However, the system provides two critically important mechanisms:

Will Points (WP) – The currency of the System, awarded for acts of ultimate overcoming and events that radically change the scale of a person's influence on the world. The System evaluates not only the scale of the achievement but also its personal significance to the bearer. The higher your Potential, the higher the bar for earning WP.

Protection from Regression – Even after long breaks or severe injuries, the protagonist will not lose the developed attributes.

The System does not make a person stronger—it only provides the tools so they can make themselves stronger and guarantees that what is earned will not be lost in vain.

Personal Breakthrough – Overcoming internal and physical limits, or events affecting the bearer's life or immediate surroundings.

Stellar Destiny – An achievement whose consequences extend beyond Earth and affect other worlds, civilizations, or the very structure of reality.

Key Nuances (Limitations):

The System does not allow "farming" WP. Repeating the same feat (e.g., daily grueling workouts) does not yield points. The bar constantly rises, requiring the protagonist to take greater risks and overcome more serious challenges.

Context matters more than scale. Saving one person from certain death may be more significant to the hero than formally participating in saving the world. The System is sensitive to personal choice and emotional cost.

Rising bar. Earning 1 WP for an all-out run at Potential 3 is possible. At Potential 10, the same feat will yield nothing. The stronger the bearer becomes, the more grand the challenges required for growth.

The System is the ultimate judge. These criteria are guidelines. The final decision on awarding WP and their quantity always remains with the System, based on the needs of the story and the protagonist's development.

The System does not reveal the full potential of Features in advance. The protagonist can only see the description of the level currently available for purchase.

Absolute/Apex. The limit of the scale.

Strength

Governs muscle density, bone strength, and tendon resilience. High strength allows lifting heavy weights, delivering powerful strikes, and enduring physical strain.

Directly affects physical power. Low strength means a lean build, weak muscles, and inability to perform serious feats of strength. Training strength leads to real muscle growth and strengthening of the musculoskeletal system.

Agility

Governs coordination, reaction speed, muscle elasticity, peripheral nervous system function, and balance (proprioception).

Affects movement speed, accuracy (e.g., in shooting), ability to dodge, maintain balance, and perform complex motor patterns.

Endurance

Governs cardiovascular health (heart, lungs, blood), oxygen exchange efficiency, muscle stamina, and overall resistance to stress, disease, and toxins.

Determines how long the protagonist can run, fight, or perform other strenuous activities. Low endurance leads to rapid fatigue, shortness of breath, and inability to sustain prolonged exertion. Endurance is directly linked to recovery speed from injuries and illnesses.

Perception

Governs sensory acuity (vision, hearing, smell), speed and clarity of information processing by the central nervous system and brain. Includes intuition, analysis, and concentration.

High perception allows noticing fine details, detecting hidden threats subconsciously, learning faster, and working more efficiently with information. It is a key attribute for situation analysis and decision-making.

SECTION I: PHYSICAL SUPERIORITY

Steel Foundation

Level I: Slightly increases bone density and ligament strength.

Requirement: Endurance-4.

Level II: Bones and ligaments noticeably densify. Impact resistance increases.

Requirement: Endurance-6, Strength-4.

Level III: Bone tissue strength reaches the human limit. The skeleton withstands extreme loads.

Level IV: Flexibility reaches superhuman levels. Allows squeezing through narrow gaps and twisting limbs at impossible angles.

Level V: Control over soft tissues becomes absolute. The body can briefly alter its shape, softening blows and making it nearly impossible to grab.

Unbreakable Heart

Level I: Improves oxygen exchange efficiency.

Requirement: Strength-4.

Level II: Heart operates at maximum human efficiency. The body cleanses toxins faster.

Requirement: Strength-6; Endurance-4.

Level III: Cardiovascular system adapts to extreme loads. Allows prolonged operation in oxygen debt.

Requirement: Strength-10; Endurance-8; Agility-6.

Level IV: Circulatory system operates at a superhuman level. Allows maintaining peak activity for tens of minutes, unattainable for ordinary humans.

Requirement: Strength-17; Endurance-13; Agility-10.

Level V: Heart becomes a near-perpetual motion machine. The body gains the ability for short-term "super-mobilization," multiplying all physical parameters at the cost of subsequent exhaustion. Full resistance to overloads (flight G-forces, sudden accelerations).

Metabolic Balance

Level I: Body slightly improves nutrient absorption and energy regulation.

Requirement: Endurance-4.

Level II: Increases efficiency of energy use from food. Toxin elimination accelerates.

Requirement: Endurance-6; Strength-4.

Level III: Metabolism optimizes to the human limit. Allows going without food and water for extended periods. Increases resistance to mild poisons and diseases.

Requirement: Endurance-10; Strength-8; Agility-6.

Level IV: Body gains superhuman control over metabolism. Can synthesize necessary substances from almost any organic matter, survive radiation, toxic atmospheres, or extreme temperatures (heat/cold) through internal regulation.

Level V: Metabolism becomes a controllable tool. Allows entering years-long hibernation, consciously restructuring the body for hostile environments. Develops full resistance to all biological poisons and diseases.

Accelerated Recovery

Level I: Slightly accelerates natural healing of minor wounds.

Requirement: Strength-4.

Level II: Noticeable regeneration acceleration. Deep cuts and fractures heal much faster.

Requirement: Strength-6; Endurance-4.

Level III: Rapid regeneration. Ability to regrow lost fingers, heal internal injuries. The body learns to neutralize and eliminate known toxins faster.

Requirement: Strength-10; Endurance-8; Agility-6.

Level IV: Superhuman recovery. Organ regeneration, instant neutralization of most poisons and toxins, cellular-level resistance to radiation damage.

Level V: Pseudo-immortality. Regeneration from a preserved organ or large limb, complete immunity to poisons and toxins (body destroys them instantly), halted aging, instant healing of any wounds except the most catastrophic.

Living Memory

Level I: Accelerates the consolidation of short-term memories into long-term ones.

Requirement: Perception-4.

Level II: Memory becomes photographic. Ability to recall read texts and environmental details accurately.

Requirement: Perception-6; Endurance-4.

Level III: Access to the overwhelming majority of memories, including those considered lost.

Requirement: Perception-10; Endurance-8; Agility-6.

Level IV: Superhuman memory. The brain functions as a perfect archive. Almost impossible to forget anything.

Level V: Absolute control over memory. Ability to reorganize, erase, or block memories. Immunity to external memory manipulation.
