"Enough of this!"
I jerked awake with a snarl tearing from my throat.
Just how many more damned times did I have to pass out like some invalid?!
My body lurched upright before my mind fully caught up.
I was not alone.
Sereth and Vance stood closest to the bed, and a cluster of noble heads occupied the space near the sealed entrance, a few of them seated in chairs that had likely been dragged from elsewhere, while some servants lingered near the walls, frozen in place by my sudden outburst.
Every single one of them was looking at me with varying degrees of discomfort.
I slowly eased and fought back a groan, running a hand over my face before I fully registered the sight before me, along with the chamber.

"Venti," one of the twins started.
I shook my head. "Give me a moment."
I shifted slightly. The heaviness was gone, along with that awful sluggishness that had plagued me since I emerged from the cocoon.
