I was surrounded by a lot of unfamiliar faces.
Rightfully so, as this was my first time ever meeting any of them.
Madam Leth, and her daughter were the only ones I had laid eyes on before. As for the rest, I knew them from mere descriptions alone.
Prince Fashire was present as well, seated not far from his aunt. Being the only red-haired royal in the room, much like Mother had described. He had such interesting eyes, and he spoke in hushed conversations with a set of twin siblings seated right beside him.
And the King… was quite the specimen.
The proceedings started, and I commented, a lovely back and forth between I, Ines, the King and his first daughter, Princess Dana.
But my attention was mostly fixed on His Majesty in the midst of all this.
