I retreated with every step she took, until she stopped.
"I do hope you live long enough to witness what humans are capable of on a global scale. Wars aside, which I am sure you have never witnessed. Humans have created some good inventions, but one way or another, they have made them rotten to the core. Anything beneficial was adjusted to focus on profit, even if it meant more harm to your own people."
Her brows furrowed slightly as she straightened.
The screen hovered in thin air out of her grip. After a few rapid taps on the screen, its glow faded, and she tucked it back into her cloak.
