Chapter 2 - The Sun That Judges

The bar fell into a heavy silence.

Then—

Laughter exploded.

"HAHAHAHA!"

One thug wiped tears from his eyes.

"You actually came back?!"

Another leaned forward, grinning.

"What is it this time? You wanna cry properly now?"

The biggest one stood, towering over the others.

"Or maybe… you liked getting beaten?"

More laughter.

Louder.

Mocking.

Kaizen stood still near the door.

Hands in his pockets.

Eyes half-lidded.

"…So no one sent you."

A thug shrugged.

"Nah."

"We were bored."

Another smirked.

"And your trash guild looked fun to mess with."

Silence.

Kaizen closed his eyes for a brief moment.

"…I see."

The thugs stood up.

Chairs scraped loudly against the floor.

Mana flared.

Weapons formed.

"Alright boys—round two."

They stepped forward.

Grinning.

Confident.

Predators.

Then—

snap

Everything disappeared.

White.

Endless white.

The bar was gone.

The city was gone.

Reality itself… gone.

The five thugs stood frozen.

"…What the hell is this?"

Above them—

A massive sun burned in the sky.

Too bright.

Too close.

Too real.

One thug scoffed, forcing a laugh.

"Tch. Illusion."

Another cracked his neck.

"Yeah. Break it."

They turned.

Kaizen stood behind them.

Unmoved.

Unbothered.

Bathed in sunlight.

"…Try."

Something about his voice—

Made the air feel heavy.

They ignored it.

Charged.

"DIE—!"

Blades. Fire. Lightning.

All rushed toward him.

Kaizen didn't move.

Not even a step.

He raised one hand.

Slowly.

"…You're loud."

Then—

snap

The sky shattered.

A golden fracture split the heavens open.

Light leaked through.

No—

Flooded.

The thugs stopped mid-charge.

Their instincts screamed.

"…Wait—"

The light above them grew.

Expanding.

Widening.

Until—

It covered the entire sky.

Their confidence broke.

"…That's not an illusion…"

One stumbled back.

"No… no way…"

Kaizen's eyes glowed faintly gold.

Cold.

Distant.

Like something that no longer belonged to this world.

"…Radiant Judgment."

He lowered his hand.

The sun fell.

A beam of pure light—

Larger than anything they could comprehend—

Descended.

Not fast.

Not slow.

Just… inevitable.

"RUN—!!"

Too late.

The light touched them—

And in that instant—

They understood.

This wasn't power.

This was judgment.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOM

No screams.

No bodies.

No ashes.

Just…

Nothing.

Erased.

Silence returned.

The white realm stood empty once more.

Only Kaizen remained.

He exhaled softly.

"…Too much noise."

snap

The bar returned.

Unchanged.

Glasses untouched.

Chairs still standing.

As if nothing had happened.

As if they had never existed.

Kaizen walked toward the exit.

The door creaked open.

Cool night air brushed past him.

He stepped outside.

Looked up at the moon.

Half-lidded eyes.

"…Now I can sleep."

He walked away.

Slow.

Casual.

As if he hadn't just erased five lives from existence.

High above the world—

Beyond clouds.

Beyond sky.

Beyond the system itself—

Something awakened.

Ancient.

Watching.

A voice echoed through the void:

"…The Sun… has begun to move."

"…This world will not survive his awakening.
