Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Birth Memories... The Cosmic Deception

In his deep seclusion, Arkan Godo replayed the memories of the birth of his third son, Nyuro. His features grew harsher as he recalled those moments when he believed a miracle had occurred within his lineage.

[The Deceptive Ripples]

"The day of his birth... I will never forget it," Arkan muttered, clenching his fist. "The space around the palace trembled, and I felt strange ripples, unfamiliar even to a cultivator of my level. For a moment, I thought the Heavens had gifted me a natural-born prodigy—a being who would transcend the limits of the 'Nascent Soul' in just a few centuries. Expectations were soaring above the clouds."

But the truth was a cold blade stabbing his pride. When he examined the infant, he found no Qi veins, not even a faint trace of talent... he found absolute "emptiness."

The Lethal Attempt: The Energy Test

"I didn't give up at first," Arkan continued, his eyes burning with a mysterious glint. "I told myself: perhaps his veins are blocked by the power of the aura that accompanied his birth. So, I decided to do what no father would—I injected a portion of my own 'Nascent Soul' energy into his tiny body immediately after he was born."

Arkan's goal was to forcibly "open" the energy pathways, but the result was terrifying.

"The moment my energy touched his body, something unexpected happened. He didn't absorb it, nor did it flow through him... it was as if his body completely rejected the energy of this world. His organs began to fail, and he neared certain death within seconds. I wanted to see his strength, but I never expected that my great power would kill him instead of reviving him."

The Verdict of Trash

Arkan looked at the palm of the hand that had nearly shattered his infant son's body back then.

"From that moment on, I knew he was worse than trash. Trash can be repurposed, but he... he is a being that does not belong to the cultivation world. His body rejects 'Qi' as if it were a lethal venom. Exiling him to the abandoned servants' annex was the only solution—so he could die slowly and far from my sight, rather than remaining a stain that reminds me of my failure to forge a true heir."

Arkan did not know that Nyuro's body hadn't "collapsed" due to weakness, but because the raw Saiyan energy (Ki) was violently clashing with the foreign Qi energy. He didn't realize that the "dying" infant was, at that very moment, building a legendary immunity that would later allow him to breathe in space and crush gravity itself.

Arkan closed his eyes again, reclaiming his false sense of calm:

"Nyuro died in my heart that night. What remains of him now is nothing but a soulless body, awaiting its inevitable end in isolation."
