Chapter 54 - Relentless Assault

Peter's raw physical strength was already comparable to the Hulk in his normal state. With the amplification of the Spider Armor, he could even rival the Hulk in a rage-fueled state.

Otherwise, what would be the point of a suit packed with so much cutting-edge black technology?

Thor's strength, in truth, wasn't far behind the Hulk's either.

But unlike the Hulk, Thor didn't grow stronger with anger.

And so—

Peter's sudden, explosive strike sent Thor blasting into the sky like a cannonball, his body streaking across the horizon.

At the same time, Peter moved without pause.

The instant he knocked Thor away, he twisted midair. From his wrists, a device rapidly began firing streams of white fluid.

Web fluid.

If he was going to wear the Spider Armor, then webbing was obviously a must.

Of course, Peter didn't need it for swinging between buildings—but webbing had far more applications than that.

This high-tensile material was stronger than reinforced steel cables, capable of withstanding immense force. And in its liquid form, it could adapt into countless configurations, offering both precision control and tactical support.

Like now.

With both hands firing, the webs spread outward, instantly sticking to fragments of the Destroyer armor scattered across the ground.

Then—

A powerful electric current surged through the web lines.

The Destroyer, which had been relying on magical energy to reassemble itself, suddenly faltered.

Its fragments… lost synchronization.

"Heh. Magic? What's so special about magic?"

Peter scoffed.

But his hands didn't slow down.

The number of fragments he had ensnared wasn't large—just a small portion compared to the countless scattered pieces.

But it was enough.

With a sharp pull of his arms, the fragments—disrupted by the electrical interference—were forcibly dragged toward him.

"Altar—sacrifice them all!"

Peter wasn't sure whether these fragments could regenerate again.

So he chose the safest option.

Destroy them at the root.

These pieces were forged from Uru metal, enchanted by Odin himself, and rumored to have received blessings from divine entities across the cosmos—Zeus, Ra… perhaps even more.

Their value?

Undoubtedly immense.

What Peter needed to do… was strip the Destroyer apart piece by piece.

"You wish to obtain… what?"

A voice echoed within his mind.

"Power. Enhance my physical strength."

In that instant—

A surge of immense energy flooded into his body.

It refined him.

Strengthened him.

Elevated his very existence.

His already monstrous physique was pushed even further beyond its limits.

And more importantly—

It worked.

"Come on then!" Peter grinned. "Keep reviving! Didn't you say only magic can beat you? Let's see you try now!"

Confidence blazed across his face.

-----

Meanwhile, in Asgard—

Loki stood frozen.

Watching everything unfold.

That sudden appearance of Spider-Man… what exactly was he?

Yes, Loki hadn't been able to unleash even one percent of the Destroyer's true power. After all, it was Odin's weapon—not his.

But even so—

The Destroyer should never have suffered like this.

Not in Midgard.

Not in this so-called backwater realm.

Even at a fraction of its strength, it should have been more than enough to rival Thor.

So why—

Why was it being dismantled by a human?

"Just… who are you?"

A flicker of shock finally appeared in Loki's eyes.

"Who exactly are you?!"

Back on Earth—

Mjolnir came hurtling through the air.

Peter's Spider-Sense flared instantly. He tilted his body slightly, effortlessly dodging the incoming hammer.

Behind him, Thor had already returned.

Cracking his neck, Peter rolled his shoulders casually. The ion cannon mounted on his shoulder began charging once more—

And this time…

Its target was the God of Thunder himself.

"Damn it—what the hell is wrong with you?!"

Thor's body tensed as the energy built up.

Weapons like that might not be able to seriously injure him…

But that didn't mean they wouldn't hurt.

One of Thor's greatest defenses came from his armor—manifested through his divine power, reinforced by the blessings tied to Mjolnir.

Without that?

His body wasn't nearly as invulnerable as people imagined.

Sure, his endurance far surpassed that of any human—but pain was still pain.

And no one enjoyed getting blasted.

"Drop your weapon, alien," Peter said coldly. "This is Earth. The only thing you can do here… is surrender."

The ion cannon roared.

A brilliant blue beam erupted forward, aimed directly at Thor's face.

Knowing he couldn't outrun the attack, Thor summoned Mjolnir back into his hand and swung it in front of him, using the hammer to block the blast head-on.

But—

That wasn't the end.

It was only the beginning.

The ranged attack was just an opening.

The moment the shot was fired, Peter retracted the cannon and surged forward.

From his back, four razor-sharp mechanical arms extended outward—

Striking in perfect coordination alongside him.

Like a storm, his attacks came crashing down.

Fists, kicks—relentless, precise, overwhelming.

With combat mastery at a grandmaster level, combined with electrostatic adhesion and the AI-controlled mechanical limbs, Peter's assault was seamless and brutal.

Even Thor—

A warrior who had lived for thousands of years, fought countless battles across the Nine Realms—

Found himself…

Completely suppressed.

Overpowered.
