Kale nodded silently and took the earring Caulifla held out, clipping it onto her ear.
Caulifla grinned and snapped the second earring onto her opposite ear.
Instantly, their bodies were drawn together with magnetic force, colliding in a burst of blinding radiance.
Boom!
As the golden-green light exploded outward, a terrifying pressure surged across the arena.
A new warrior emerged from the light.
Her hair was spiked upward in a brilliant green, and she wore a red form-fitting outfit that showed off her lean, powerful physique. The raw power radiating from her was staggering.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
"Hahaha! I can feel it! Limitless power is welling up inside me!" the fused warrior exclaimed.
She felt the combined essence of both women. "Since I'm the fusion of Caulifla and Kale, call me Kefla!"
A confident smirk played on Kefla's lips as she turned her gaze toward Broly.
"Now... I'm going to finish you!"
"What?! Fusion?!"
"Is that allowed? That has to be cheating, right?!"
Up in the spectator bleachers, the Gods of the various universes watched in shock.
"Ooh! A fusion! So cool!"
Grand Zeno clapped his hands in excitement. Seeing the Omni-King's reaction, the Grand Minister immediately adjusted the rules.
Using items? Forbidden? Not if the Grand Minister said otherwise. Rules were whatever he decided they were in the moment.
With fusion now officially sanctioned, the remaining universes began to eye the possibility of using Potara earrings themselves. Judging by the energy coming from those two Saiyan women, the power boost was astronomical.
On the other side of the stage, Son Goku—having just eliminated Dyspo—turned his head toward the surge of power. "Heh, another warrior like Vegito, huh?"
He shook his head and turned his attention back to Jiren. "Alright, Jiren. It's time for us to have a real fight!"
Jiren remained expressionless. He glanced briefly at Broly, then at Vegito (Turles), who was currently sitting on a stone pillar watching the chaos like it was a show.
Jiren had to admit that Universe 7 was packed with monsters. His absolute confidence in victory was starting to waver. But as for the Goku standing before him? Goku was strong, certainly, but Jiren didn't see him as a peer yet.
Goku noticed the slight. "Hmph, talk about arrogant..."
"Haah!"
Goku powered up instantly, charging toward Jiren. The air screamed as their battle finally ignited.
Nearby, Vegeta and Toppo were locked in a fierce exchange of blows.
Toppo grunted between strikes, "Hmph. Your friend is no match for Jiren. He is the strongest being in our universe!"
Vegeta let out a mocking laugh. "Heh, we'll see about that. You really think what you've seen is the extent of our power?"
"Stop bluffing!" Toppo roared, swinging a massive fist.
"HAA!"
Kefla erupted with a golden-green aura, lunging at Broly like a starving predator.
"HAA!"
Broly matched her roar. His own golden-green aura flared as he charged head-on to meet her.
Boom!
Their fists collided with the force of a supernova. The ground beneath them caved in instantly, spiderweb cracks spreading across the arena floor for hundreds of meters.
"What?!"
Kefla's eyes widened. This man was actually holding her back?
"ATATATATATA!"
After the initial test of strength, the two vanished into a blur of high-speed combat. Every second contained thousands of exchanges.
Flash! Boom! Flash! Boom!
Afterimages of Kefla and Broly flickered across the battlefield. The sheer shockwaves from their clash were so violent that several "fodder" fighters from other universes were blown clean off the stage.
"All contestants from Universe 4 have been eliminated. Universe 4 will now be..."
As the Grand Minister spoke, Grand Zeno waved his hand. Universe 4 was erased in an instant.
On his pillar, Turles watched Jiren and wondered to himself, That's not enough power to stop Universe 7. I wonder what you'll do, Jiren? Will you give in and fuse with Toppo?
Because of Turles' interference, the Universe 7 team had received a massive "buff."
They had Super Saiyan 5 Goku and Vegeta, Orange Piccolo, Legendary Super Saiyan Broly, Majin Buu with the Grand Supreme Kai's persona, a Gohan who had actually been training, and a Bulma who had cybernetically enhanced herself.
And then there was Turles himself—the ultimate "Cheat Code User."
This lineup was enough to solo the entire tournament, let alone Jiren. At this point, Jiren might not even be able to beat Goku at full power.
Currently, only three universes remained: Universe 11, Universe 6, and Universe 7.
The last remnants of Universe 3 had just been knocked out by Son Gohan.
"All contestants from Universe 3 have been eliminated. Universe 3 is hereby erased!"
This time, the announcement didn't make the fighters pause. They were fighting for their lives now. At this level, a single second of distraction meant immediate defeat.
"Ha! Take this!"
Seeing that her martial arts weren't enough to break Broly, Kefla resorted to the "Prince's Technique." She unleashed a relentless volley of golden-green ki blasts, raining them down on Broly like a meteor shower.
Broly didn't flinch. He snapped a green energy shield into existence and charged straight through the explosions toward Kefla.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The explosions kicked up a massive cloud of dust. A moment later, Broly burst through the smoke, completely unscathed.
Kefla gasped. "No way!"
Crunch!
Their fists collided once more, shaking the entire World of Void.
At this point, besides the major fights—Goku vs. Jiren, Vegeta vs. Toppo, and Piccolo vs. the two Namekians from Universe 6—the rest of Universe 7 had actually gone idle. They stood around the edges, watching the show.
This sight nearly gave Beerus a heart attack. "Hey! What are you idiots doing?! Get in there and help! Finish them off!"
Turles leaned over and patted Beerus on the shoulder. "Relax, Beerus. We've already won this. Besides, these guys don't like people interrupting their..."
Before he could finish, he saw Son Gohan fly in to help his "real father," Piccolo.
"...Uh, except Gohan. Piccolo is the exception."
Sure enough, with Gohan joining the fray, the two Namekians from Universe 6 were eliminated shortly after.
The "All-Star" roster of Universe 7 was proving to be utterly invincible. In the bleachers, the Supreme Kais and Gods of Destruction whose universes had already been erased could only sigh. The sheer quality of Universe 7's warriors was in a league of its own.
