Chapter 1 - Lost Somewhere

Aira is a masc girl who dreams of travelling the world, capturing nature through her camera, trekking through unknown paths, and writing poetry that touches souls. She loves books, sketching, psychology, and things that feel a little mysterious.

She lives in Goa.

Aira is an introvert. She is a lesbian. Most of the time, she prefers her own company. But deep inside, she feels like something is missing—like she is searching for something… or someone… who is also searching for her.

She wants to write quotes that inspire people. Words that make someone feel understood.

So she starts posting her quotes on Instagram.

But no one notices.

No views. No likes.

Still, she keeps trying.

One day, after a long trip, she was returning home. The sky was quiet, and so was her mind—but not in a peaceful way.

She felt lost.

And she didn't know why.

To distract herself, she opened her phone and started scrolling. That's when she found a thread:"I am really into psychology and human behavior. Let's connect. DM me. I would love to know you. I've also created a GC (group chat). Would you like to join?"

Aira hesitated for a moment… then texted:

"Hi, I'm really interested in psychology. I'd like to join the GC. My name is Aira… and I'm a bit tomboyish."

She thought maybe she would learn something new.

She didn't know that one message would change her life.

Her name was Aarohi.

A girl from Kolkata.

She dreams of becoming a gardener, writing poetry, creating art, and doing something that makes her country proud.

Unlike Aira, Aarohi is extremely extroverted. She is bisexual, full of energy, and always ready to talk.

And somehow… that one message caught her attention.

Aarohi replied:

"Heyyy! I'd love to have you join. Follow me on Instagram—I'll follow you back."

Aira smiled slightly and replied,

"Thank you for adding me 😊"

"It's okay, don't thank me," Aarohi said.

There was a short pause.

Then Aarohi asked,

"Tell me about yourself

Aira stared at the screen for a few seconds, then replied,

"My name is Aira. I'm 16… a bit tomboyish, and kind of an introvert."

"I like nature photography, reading books, poetry… and psychology."

Aarohi replied instantly,

"Same babeee, sameee."

A small smile appeared on Aira's face.

After a short pause, she typed again,

"Do you like nature?"

Aarohi's reply came quickly,

"I love nature. Honestly… trees and flowers feel like peace to me."

Aira read that line twice.

For some reason, it felt comforting.

Aarohi was already in a relationship.

She had a boyfriend who loved her deeply… and she loved him too.

But even then—

she found herself talking to Aira.

Slowly, their conversations grew longer.

They began sharing photographs—

little pieces of their world, captured through their eyes.

"When's your birthday?" Aarohi asked.

"26th September."

"Wow, same month!"

"Yours?"

"22nd September. 2009 born?"

"Yeah."

And just like that…

A simple conversation began.

Neither of them knew it yet—

but their lives were about to change completely.
