Chapter 97 - Chapter 96- The Ethereal Reveal

(Keifer's POV)

The morning sun shone brightly over my resort. I stood near the back entrance of the hotel, looking at the driveway. A large delivery vehicle drove up slowly. My heart beat fast because I knew what was inside that truck. It was the most important package of my life. It was the bridal dress for my beautiful wifey, Jay. I had spent many days and nights designing this dress all by myself. Every line, every shape, and every single detail came straight from my heart. I wanted it to be perfect for her.

The large truck came to a full stop. The back doors opened up slowly. A big, strong box was placed inside. My secret helpers from London Couture had done an amazing job. They had flown it across the ocean in less than two days just like I asked. I called over a group of my trusted hotel staff. I told them to be very careful. We carried the massive box down into the grand basement of the hotel. The basement was huge, clean, and completely private. Nobody would come down here without my permission.

"Listen to me carefully," I said to the staff in a quiet voice. "I want this entire basement room to look like a dream. Decorate every corner. Make sure everything is clean and beautiful. I will come back down soon to check on it."

The staff nodded their heads quickly. They knew how much Jay meant to me. They immediately started to work. I took a deep breath, smiled to myself, and walked out of the basement. I took the private elevator up to our luxury room. When I opened the door, Jay was sitting on the bed. She looked up at me with her sweet, bright eyes.

"Where were you, Keifer?" she asked with a soft smile.

"I was just downstairs welcoming some of our guests who just arrived at the resort, wifey," I said. It was not a complete lie, as our families were settled in, but it kept my big secret safe. I walked over and sat down right next to her on the comfortable king-sized bed. I took her hand in mine. "We have a lot of wedding planning to do today. Are you ready?"

"Yes, hubby!" she said, clapping her hands happily. "We need to make our final lists."

We grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. We needed to choose our bridesmaids and our best men. It was an easy choice for both of us. We both knew the answers right away. Every single person had to come from Section E, our beloved HVIS legacy group. They had been with us through all our ups and downs.

"For my bridesmaids, I want Freya, Mica, Rakki, Ella and Grace," Jay said as she wrote their names down on the paper.

"And for best men, I will have all the boys from Section E," I replied with a smile. "They will look great standing up there with me."

Next, we needed to think about the younger children in our families. We needed a flower girl. My mind instantly went to our very cute little girl.

"I think little Amara will be the best choice for our flower girl," I suggested. Amara was our sweet toddler niece who loved us so much and definitely was not adopting Angelo's habits! Thank god!

"Oh, she will be so perfect!" Jay agreed, her face lighting up with joy. "But she is still very little. She might get shy or lost on the long walk down the wedding pathway. Who can walk with her?"

"What about Grazel Jay?" I asked. Grazel Jay was older than Amara about few years and was perfect to walk with her.

So I suggested, "She is a bit older and very responsible. She can accompany Amara and hold her hand so she does not get scared."

"That is a wonderful idea, Keifer!" Jay said. She wrote down both of their names next to each other on our wedding list.

With the names done, we moved on to the next big topic. It was time to decide the official color theme for the wedding. Jay leaned back and thought for a brief moment. She tapped her chin with the pen.

"I have been thinking about the colors," Jay said softly. "It would be so nice if everyone wears pastels. Pastel colors are so soft, calm, and beautiful. And of course, we will wear the classic white and black outfits. I will wear white, and you will wear black. That is obvious for the bride and groom."

I felt a wave of relief wash over me. I smiled warmly at her. Inside my head, I was celebrating. Jay was talking about wearing a white dress, but she still did not remember that she did not actually buy a bridal dress at the mall yesterday!

If it could have been topic of food then she could have never forget, Keifer!

My secret mission with the girls had worked perfectly. They had distracted her with ice cream, manicures, and magazines so well that she completely forgot she lacked a dress.

"I love that idea, wifey," I said, keeping my voice calm and happy. "Pastel colors will look amazing against the white sand and the blue ocean. How about we make it specific? I suggest that all the girls can wear beautiful pastel pink dresses."

Jay clapped her hands together fast. Her smile was so big and bright. "Yes! Cream suits for the boys and pastel pink dresses for the girls! That matches perfectly. It will look so elegant in the photographs."

"Perfect," I said. I stood up and took out my phone. I sent a quick message to my personal assistant. I gave him the exact details of the clothing theme. I wrote: "Send a message to every single guest on our list. Tell them the wedding theme is pastels. All men must wear cream suits. All women must wear pastel pink dresses. Make sure no one is left out. Everyone must get this message today."

Once the assistant confirmed he was on it, I looked back at Jay. "Come on, wifey. We have the special dresses for little Amara and Grazel Jay in our closet. Let us go down to Boss and Ion's room right now to give it to them and ask for their permission."

Jay stood up and picked up the two beautiful dress bags from the closet. We walked down the long, carpeted hallway of the luxury hotel. We stopped in front of Angelo's room and knocked gently on the door. After a second, the door opened.

We walked inside and saw a very sweet scene. Ion was sitting on the soft carpet, playing a fun game with little Amara. Amara was giggling and clapping her small hands. On the other side of the room, Demon was sitting at a desk. He was staring intensely at his laptop screen, working hard on some big company business. Almost popping his eyes out, I wonder which worker's death is today? Rest in peace from me!

As soon as Amara turned her head and saw the two of us standing by the door, her eyes grew wide. "Uncle Keifer! Auntie Jay!" she screamed with pure joy in her cute babish voice.

She stood up on her tiny feet and ran across the room as fast as she could. Jay and I both dropped to our knees and caught her in our arms. We gave her a massive, warm hug together. Amara hugged our necks tightly, laughing all the while.

Angelo closed his laptop with a soft click. He turned around in his chair and looked at Jay with a big, teasing smirk on his face. "Well, well, look who it is," Angelo said in a playful voice. "How did you actually get time away from your billionaire husband to come visit us, punk? I thought you two would be locked away in your royal suite forever."

Jay rolled her eyes playfully at him, but she was laughing. "Stop it, Kuya! We are very busy people."

I stood up and smiled at my old friend. "Actually, Boss, we are here to tell you something very important." I looked down at Ion, who was now standing up next to Angelo.

"We want to ask you both a big question. Can Amara be our official flower girl for the wedding?"

Ion's face lit up instantly. She gasped and clapped her hands against her cheeks. "Oh! Sure, she can! That would look so beautiful, Keifer! She will love it."

Jay lifted up the first dress bag and opened it slowly. "Look what we brought for her," Jay said proudly.

She pulled out Amara's special dress. It was an incredibly beautiful light blue pastel shade. It was a short baby toddler frock. It had lovely fabric flowers sewn right onto the middle of the waist, and the skirt had lots of tiny glitters on it that caught the room's light. Jay also reached into the bag and pulled out a beautiful matching blue bow for Amara's hair.

Ion walked over and touched the soft fabric of the dress. Her eyes were shining. "Oh, Jay, look at this. It is absolutely perfect, dear. She is going to look like a little angel."

Angelo then asked Ion , " Then what about dress that we bought for her?"

Ion rolled her eyes so angerly at Angelo that he didn't need to listen the respond.

Angelo walked over to us too. The tough look on his face completely melted as he looked down at his little daughter. He bent down slowly and spoke to her in a very soft, gentle voice. "My sweet baby girl is going to be the flower girl at her Auntie Jay's marriage. Isn't that amazing, Amara?"

Amara did not really know the meaning of the words "flower girl," but she saw how excited everyone was. She started jumping up and down on the carpet, waving her little hands in the air.

"Yay! Yay!" she cheered, making all of us burst into loud laughter.

After that, we also handed over the second dress bag, which held the gorgeous dress for Grazel Jay. We asked them to make sure Denzel and Grace got it. Once our mission in their room was fully complete, Jay and I said our goodbyes and walked back to our own room.

As soon as we stepped inside our room, I noticed that Jay's face looked a bit pale. She put her hand up to her forehead and closed her eyes tightly.

"What is wrong, wifey?" I asked, feeling worried. I walked over and put my arm around her shoulder.

"I just have a bit of a headache, Keifer," she said in a tired voice. "I think all the excitement and planning is catching up to me. I really want to sleep for a little while. Will you come and cuddle with me on the bed?"

My heart ached because I wanted nothing more than to lay down and hold her close. But I knew the delivery truck had arrived earlier, and my staff was downstairs waiting for me to finish the grand setup in the basement. I had to complete my secret mission.

"I am so sorry, wifey," I said softly, rubbing her arm. "I really want to stay, but I have to go downstairs and take care of some important hotel arrangements right now. I need to make sure everything is perfect for our guests."

Jay opened her eyes and gave me a sweet, understanding look. She did not get upset at all. "No problem, Keifer. It is completely normal. I know you have a huge resort to run and a big wedding to manage. Go do what you need to do. I understand completely."

She climbed into the large bed and lay her head down on the soft pillows. I walked over to the side table and fetched her some headache medicine along with a fresh glass of water. She swallowed the medicine quickly. I pulled the heavy, warm blanket up over her shoulders to keep her cozy. Then, I leaned down and kissed her forehead very gently.

"Rest well, my beautiful wifey," I whispered.

"See you later, hubby," she murmured, closing her eyes. Within a few minutes, her breathing became slow and deep. She was fast asleep.

Now, it was time for my main mission. I quietly walked out of the bedroom and closed the door without making a single sound. I ran down the stairs and headed straight for the grand basement. When I opened the heavy basement doors, I was amazed. The hotel staff had already done so much work, but there was still a lot more to do. I took off my jacket, rolled up my shirt sleeves, and jumped right in to help them. I wanted to place every single item perfectly.

We worked hard for a full hour. We blew up balloons, hung up decorations, and made sure the lighting was just right. I also did the work because I wanted it to be genuine effort from me to Jay.

After an hour of non-stop work, everything was finally ready. The room looked incredible. It was a complete masterpiece.

I washed my hands, fixed my clothes, and went back up to our luxury suite to wake Jay up and check on how she was feeling. I unlocked the door and walked into the quiet bedroom. I saw that Jay had just woken up. She was sitting up against the pillows, stretching her arms. The crimson color had returned to her beautiful cheeks.

"How are you feeling, wifey?" I asked, walking over to the bed.

"I am feeling much better, Keifer," she said, giving me a bright smile. "My head is not hurting anymore. I think my head was just paining because of pure exhaustion from the long mall trip yesterday and all the planning today. A short nap was exactly what I needed." She looked at me curiously. "Have you finished the big arrangement you went downstairs for?"

A mischievous smile crept onto my face. My master plan was working perfectly. I looked at her with wide, mock-worried eyes."Actually, there is a bit of a problem, wifey," I said, pretending to be stressed. "Something unexpected came up downstairs, and you really have to come with me right now to see it."

Jay's smile quickly disappeared. A look of true worry filled her face. She immediately threw the blanket off her legs and stood up from the bed. "Oh no! What is wrong? Do you need my help? Do you need any opinion on how to fix it?"

"Of course I do," I said, holding back a laugh. "Your opinion is the only one that matters. Come with me."

I took her hand, and we quickly headed out of the room. We walked down the hallway and took the elevator down toward the deep basement. Jay was asking me questions the whole time, trying to guess what the problem was, but I just kept a serious face and did not answer.

When the elevator doors opened at the basement level, I saw that our families were already there. Mom, Kiara, troublemakers Keigan and Keiren, along with Jay's dad Jaspher, Percy, Angelo, Ion, Amara , Aries , Ella, Tita and Lola were standing right outside the grand basement doors. They were all smiling and waiting for us.

Before Jay could look ahead and see them standing there, I quickly stepped behind her. I placed both of my large hands over her eyes, completely blocking her view."Keifer! What are you doing?" Jay gasped, laughing a little bit but still feeling confused. "Why are you covering my eyes? What is happening?"

"Just trust me, wifey," I said softly near her ear. "Just go ahead and walk forward slowly as I guide you. Do not worry, I will not let you fall."

"Okay, okay," she said.

I guided her forward step by step. Our families watched us silently, their faces full of pure excitement. They quietly followed right behind us as we approached the massive double doors of the basement room. We finally stopped right in front of the entrance.

"Are you ready, wifey?" I asked softly.

"Yes, I am so excited for the problem, you idiot!" she cried out in pure sarcasm. Oh wifey please be serious in this situation!

I slowly removed my hands from Jay's eyes. At that exact moment, the grand basement doors swung open automatically.

The room inside was revealed, and it started with a beautiful burst of special glitter smoke that rolled across the floor, making the entrance look like a magical stage reveal. Jay took a step inside, holding my hand tightly. She looked completely clueless, her eyes looking around the massive space.

As the smoke cleared, she saw the incredible decorations. The entire ceiling was covered in thousands of bright balloons. They were all colored blue and orange—our absolute favorite colors in the world.

Hanging down from every single balloon was a long, elegant black ribbon. And attached to the bottom of those thousands of black ribbons were photos. There were thousands of photos of us. There were pictures from our high school days in Section E, pictures of our funny moments, our sweet dates, our ups and downs, and every beautiful memory we had ever shared together.

It looked like walking in all our memories that we created together in years to something that Jay couldn't have expected.

Jay stopped walking. She looked at the thousands of photos surrounding her like a forest of memories. Tears of pure joy started to spill over her eyelashes and run down her cheeks. She turned around, threw her arms around my neck, and hugged me with all her strength. She was crying happy tears against my shoulder.

"Oh my god, Keifer," she sobbed softly. "This is the most beautiful thing anyone has ever done for me. I love it so much."

I held her close for a moment, smelling her sweet hair, and then I gently pulled back. I smiled down at her and pointed my finger toward a special white door at the very back of the decorated room. Painted on the door in beautiful, neat letters were the words: "My wifey, you have to see this."

Jay looked at me, her eyes wide with wonder, and then she looked back at the door. She wiped a tear from her cheek and walked over to it slowly. Her hand shook a little bit as she reached out and opened the door wide.

She stepped into the inner room and completely stopped breathing.

Standing in the center of the room, under a bright spotlight, was a large flare, incredibly grand white bridal gown. It was a massive, magnificent dress with a huge, flowing skirt that looked like a dream gown straight out of a fairy tale fantasy book. The entire fabric was covered in thousands of real, shimmering white pearls that caught the light from every single angle. It was a masterpiece of pure beauty.

Jay saw the gown, and she was totally amazed. Her mouth dropped open, and she could not utter a single word. She just stared at it in complete shock.

Standing right next to the gorgeous gown was the professional head designer from London Couture. He smiled warmly at Jay and took a step forward.

The same person who once saw her in moustache was now explaining her the Pearl Chair secret! But Jay was too surprised by the dress to be embarrassed .

"Hello, Mrs. Watson" the designer said in a respectful voice. "This exceptional bridal gown was personally sketched and designed by Sir Keifer Watson himself, just for you. Every single white pearl, the rare fabric, and every detail was his personal choice to make your wedding day special. This is a completely unique, one-of-a-kind piece. No one else in the world has a dress like this."

Jay turned her head slowly to look at me. She was crying so hard now, but her face was full of the deepest love and shock. She tried to speak, but she was so overwhelmed by emotion that no words could come out of her mouth. She had completely forgotten about needing a wedding dress, and now she realized that I had taken care of it all along by creating a masterpiece with my own hands.

I walked over to her slowly. I reached up with my thumbs and wiped her hot tears away from her soft cheeks very gently.

"Do you like it, wifey?" I asked her in a quiet, loving voice.

She looked back at the pearl-covered gown, and then back into my eyes. "This is ethereal, Keifer," she whispered, using the most beautiful word to describe how heavenly it looked. "It is more than a dream. I don't know how lucky I am to deserve a husband like you. You think of everything."

I could not contain my happiness anymore. I smiled widely, leaned down, and picked Jay up in my arms, lifting her right off her feet. I held her tight against my chest and started spinning her around and around in circles in the middle of the room. Jay let out a beautiful, loud laugh, her tears turning into pure joy as her arms wrapped securely around my shoulders.

Behind us, our families stood together in the doorway. Their faces were covered in massive smiles. Mom was clapping with soft look in her eyes, and Jay's dad had tears of pride in his eyes. They all took out their phones, clicking lots of photos and making beautiful videos of us spinning around in our

own perfect world. I knew right then that no matter what ups and downs we had faced in the past, our future together was going to be absolutely perfect. I was the luckiest man alive, and she was finally going to be my wife...
