A monstrous shadow, blacker than the night, fell upon our small car. It roared, a guttural sound that vibrated through my very bones. The Minotaur. Just like the stories, but terrifyingly, undeniably real. My mother, with desperate courage, pushed me out, sacrificing herself. Rage, pure and unadulterated, ignited in my soul.
