My mind buzzed, a constant swarm of thoughts darting like startled fish. ADHD, they called it. Dyslexia, too. Yet, the old Greek carvings around me seemed to shift, the letters making a strange kind of sense, like secret script meant only for me. I'd always felt like an outsider, a glitch in the world's neat programming. Today, that glitch would manifest with a fury no one could have predicted.
