Chapter 25 – The Pregnancy Test Disaster
JJ Mariano had many talents.
Survival skills.
Fighting.
Academic domination.
Destroying people emotionally with one sentence.
But today?
Today proved she had absolutely no survival instincts when it came to curiosity.

The Discovery
School had just ended.
The corridors were quieter than usual as students started leaving.
JJ was walking alone toward the back staircase, eating chips because apparently she survived entirely on snacks and bad decisions.
Then—
she saw Denzel.
Looking nervous.
Very nervous.
He looked around once.
Twice.
Then quickly threw something into the dustbin and RAN.
JJ blinked.
"…what."
Her curiosity activated instantly.
Which was always dangerous.
She walked toward the dustbin slowly.
Looked inside.
Paused.
Pulled something out carefully.
A pregnancy test.
Silence.
JJ stared at it.
"…IS DENZEL PREGNANT—"
Pause.
Her brain rebooted.
"…boys can't get pregnant."
Another pause.
"…right?"
She stared harder.
Then looked in the direction Denzel ran.
"Huh."
Normal people would leave it there.
JJ Mariano was not normal people.
So obviously—
she took it home.
"For investigation purposes," she muttered.

The Beginning Of The End
That night—
JJ completely forgot about it.
Which honestly made the situation worse.
Because while she showered upstairs—
Aries entered her room looking for his charger.
And found—
the pregnancy test.
On her table.
Silence.
Pure silence.
Aries stared at it.
Then his soul LEFT HIS BODY.
"…what."
He grabbed it slowly like it was a bomb.
Read it again.
Looked toward the bathroom door.
Then—
exploded.
"PERCY!"
Downstairs chaos immediately activated.
Percy almost fell off the sofa. "WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING."
Aries stormed downstairs holding the test like evidence in a murder case.
Percy blinked once.
Twice.
Then screamed louder than him.
"BABY SISTAH IS PREGNANT?!"
Angelo looked up from his coffee slowly.
Dangerously.
"…what."
Percy pointed dramatically. "LOOK."
Angelo took the test.
Silence.
The room temperature dropped instantly.
Death itself looked warmer.
Upstairs—
JJ walked out of the shower peacefully drying her hair.
Then paused.
Because downstairs sounded like war.
"…what now."
She walked down.
Saw all three staring at her.
And immediately knew something terrible happened.
Percy looked emotional.
Aries looked homicidal.
Angelo looked ready for prison.
JJ blinked slowly.
"…why do you all look constipated."
Aries held up the test.
Silence.
JJ froze.
Then immediately:
"OH MY GOD NO."
Percy gasped dramatically. "IT'S TRUE."
"IT'S NOT TRUE."
Aries snapped, "Then explain THIS."
JJ grabbed her head. "THAT IS NOT MINE."
Angelo finally spoke.
Cold.
"Whose is it."
"I DON'T KNOW."
"Why is it in your room."
"BECAUSE DENZEL THREW IT—"
Silence.
Percy blinked. "…Denzel is pregnant?"
JJ screamed. "NO."

Keifer Gets Called
Nobody listened to her.
Absolutely nobody.
Aries was pacing.
Percy was panicking.
Angelo was terrifyingly calm—which was somehow worse.
And then—
Angelo called Keifer.
JJ nearly fainted.
"You called WHO."
Angelo looked at her calmly. "If you're pregnant, he should be here."
JJ almost died on the spot.
"I AM NOT PREGNANT."
Nobody cared.

Clinic Chaos
Thirty minutes later—
they were at the clinic.
JJ sitting there like she wanted the earth to consume her.
Keifer arrived.
Looked at JJ.
Looked at the pregnancy test.
Then—
grinned.
Actually grinned.
JJ narrowed her eyes instantly.
"…why are you smiling like a psychopath."
Keifer sat beside her casually.
"So…"
JJ already looked violent.
"…so what."
He leaned closer slightly.
"We made a baby this fast?"
SMACK.
JJ punched him immediately.
Right in the jaw.
Percy gasped dramatically. "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE."
Aries: "Do it again."
Keifer was STILL laughing holding his jaw.
Which somehow made JJ angrier.
"What is WRONG with you?!"
Keifer looked completely unbothered. "You'd be cute pregnant."
JJ looked genuinely ready for murder.
"I will END you."
"Profanity."
"SHUT UP."

Waiting For Results
The waiting room was unbearable.
Percy pacing dramatically.
Aries staring holes into Keifer.
Angelo sitting silently like a mafia boss deciding executions.
And Keifer?
Still smiling.
JJ looked at him in disbelief.
"You seriously think this is funny."
"A little."
"I hate you."
"No you don't."
JJ grabbed a tissue box threateningly.
Keifer leaned back immediately. "Violence isn't the answer."
"Today it is."

The Results
Finally—
the doctor walked out.
Everyone stood instantly.
Doctor Ria adjusted the file calmly.
"Ms. Mariano's test results are negative."
Silence.
Dead silence.
Then—
Keifer BURST OUT laughing.
Actually laughing like his life depended on it.
JJ stared at him in horror.
"…is your brain misplaced."
He kept laughing.
JJ pointed aggressively.
"Or do you just WANT another punch."
Percy collapsed dramatically onto a chair.
"THANK GOD BABY SISTAH DIDN'T REPRODUCE YET."
Aries looked ready to kill everyone anyway.
Angelo closed his eyes briefly like he was reconsidering life.
JJ crossed her arms furiously.
"I TOLD ALL OF YOU."
Nobody answered.
Because technically—
she did.

The Ride Back
The drive home was painfully quiet.
Except for Percy.
Who whispered dramatically every five minutes:
"We almost became uncles."
JJ threw fries at him.
Aries drove aggressively.
Angelo remained terrifyingly silent.
And Keifer?
Still grinning occasionally.
JJ looked at him with disgust.
"You're enjoying this too much."
He shrugged. "Our children would've been cute."
JJ looked genuinely offended by existence.
"I regret meeting you."
"No you don't."

Final Disaster
When they finally reached home—
everyone started getting out.
JJ was finally calming down.
Finally.
Then—
Keifer suddenly pulled her closer lightly by the waist.
JJ blinked.
"What ar—"
He kissed her.
Soft.
Quick.
Right on the lips.
In front of everyone.
INCLUDING ANGELO.
Silence.
Percy gasped so loudly birds probably flew away.
Aries froze.
JJ's brain stopped functioning.
He broke the kiss first.
Then—
SMACK.
Angelo punched Keifer straight in his jaw.
Hard.
Keifer stepped back laughing again.
"Worth it."
Angelo pointed at him coldly.
"One more and I bury you."
Keifer nodded respectfully.
"…understood."
Then looked at JJ again.
"…worth it though."
JJ covered her burning face immediately.
"I hate all of you."
