In the curtain of darkness, the radiance of the moon hanging above the sky seemed to gather and shine upon the figure sitting on the wooden training platform, contrasting against her young, gentle, and beautiful appearance.
Before her, another figure could be seen voicing some words.

The voice was gentle and soft, drifting along the wind and reaching the figure, causing her eyelids to flutter.

The words came from the direction of Lei Qing, who was standing near the entrance of the pavilion.
The figure opened her eyes and gave a smile.
"Sister, Brother Yan has made me meditate since daybreak," she said as she got off the platform.
"You silly lass, you will be sixteen this year, yet you are not even fully in the Early Tier of the Martial Realm. Don't you worry that the other disciples will leave you behind?"
Lei Yan berated her, though there was concern hidden within his words.
"Brother Yan, don't worry. Lingxi is very talented, and she will catch up and leave them in the dust."
Lei Qing stopped and winked at Lingxi.
"Right?"
"Yes—yes! I will become the most powerful cultivator in the clan. Don't worry, Brother Yan," she replied quickly.

Lei Yan could only watch their departing figures.
