[A country road side in Ohio]
Toni drives down a long country road in the darkness of the night…Mimoria sits next to him staring out the window…the anxiety in her chest is eating her alive
Toni: "Cheer up Mimoria…everything will be alright…"
Mimoria: "How can you be so calm…we're actively infiltrating a powerful organization…I'm terrified."
Toni: "I'm…im always scared…im probably more terrified than you…but my pop once told me…a scared black man is no better than a dead slave…I dont know why he told me that when I was 6 but it stuck with me…"
Mimoria: "That's…very…kind of him?"
Toni: "Hehe I see you're awkward…you know we are minorities in this country…I'm black and you're Japanese…we may not be the same shade but we share the same troubles…"
Mimoria: "What do you mean by that?"
Toni: "This country was built by white men…my ancestors were brought here to work for them as slaves…after years of fighting for our freedom we got it…but the world still holds resentment for people who aren't a pale…what I'm saying is your social anxiety or self insecurity shouldn't prevent you from being yourself…even if you're always nervous it's still better to be happy in a world who doesn't give a single shit about us…"
Mimoria: "woah…I didn't expect for you to be so…deep Toni…I-i see what you're saying…I-I'll try my best…"
Toni: "You're already trying your best and that's what matters the most…"
Mimoria stares at Toni as he continues driving…she looks out the window getting lost into a deep thought…
Toni: "I got some family in Ohio…they'll let us crash for a few days while we get our plan together…we have a week to gain enough information before we must return home."
Mimoria: "Alright…hey Toni?"
Toni: "Yeah?"
Mimoria: "I don't really know you well…we never really talk much…can you tell me a bit about yourself?"
Toni doesn't respond…he sighs heavily before tapping his fingers in the steering wheel
Toni: "My name is Antonio Harris. I was born in Arlington Texas…my folks found a better paying job in Akron Ohio so we moved there when I was 6…"

[Akron Ohio, December 16th 2049]
Toni sits at a table staring at a birthday cake…a big 14 is sitting on the icing of the cake…Toni grins as his family and friends sing happy birthday around him…he looks around happily…then the next moment a large explosion happens outside…Tonies father runs outside and is gunned down by armed men…he stares horrified as his mother grabs him and drags him away
??: "Toni! Run!"
Toni: "Ma?! What's going on?! Who are those men?!"
??: "Your father owed money to powerful people…powerful dangerous people…run…run and don't stop! I'll find you!!!"
Toni stares at his mother before running out the back door…he runs into the forest and hides behind a wall of trees…the sound of gunfire and explosions pollutes the air…he sits staring at his hands as the explosions and gunshots continue…

After a few hours he hears footsteps…armed men walk through the forest laughing and shouting
??: "Did you see the look on that woman's face?! It was hysterical!"
??: "Who cares if their black?! They still owe us money hehe…"
Toni shuffles more into the tree line…the men hear him moving and ready their weapons…they spot him and point their guns at him
??: "Looks like we missed one…kill him."
They all ready their weapons…one by one they all shoot their heavy assault rifles towards Toni…he screams in fear before raising his hands…he looks up at the men as he realizes the bullets are stuck in place…he slowly stands up and looks at the bullets floating in the air…he runs away from the men running towards his house
Toni: "MOM!!! DAD!!!"
He turns through the backdoor and freezes…his mother is holding the corpse in her lap…she looks up at him with tears flowing down her face…he looks around the house and stares at the blood and gore around the living house…
Toni: "Oh god…"
He looks down at his wrist and stares at the clock forming on his wrist…tears flow down his face as the stench of blood fills his nose…

Mimoria: "W-woah…I'm..sorry that happened to you…"
Toni: "It's fine and I got over it…Yawe is strongest when you're afraid…it's like a natural self defense mechanism…"
Mimoria: "interesting…so who were the men who attacked your family…? If you don't mind me asking…"
Toni: "Those men were bounty hunters. They hunted down anyone with strong Yawe powers and harvested their blood for their own personal gain…a few years after I gained my powers I hunted them down and took them out…"
Mimoria: "You're amazing Toni…I wish I had the guts to be more like you…"
Toni: "You don't need the guts…you are already brave enough yourself. I mean you're the one who started this whole mission so be proud of yourself."
Mimoria smiles at Toni's uplifting words…she feels the confidence rising in her chest but the looming anxiety and fear bubbling in her heart…

A city skyline begins to rise from the horizon…Mimoria looks up and lets out a sigh of relief. Mimoria looks at a passing sign as they grow closer to the city
Mimoria: "We're in Cleveland? I thought your family lived in Akron?"
Toni: "They do…but the Nier facility we're going to is one of the most dangerous ones…this one is under the supervision of a man called Mochi. He was once apart of that super evil Kaiju killing organization ran by Tami Cujack 25 years ago…I did a bit of research and I found that he uses electricity based attacks…"
Mimoria: "He sounds…dangerous…"
Toni: "He is…there are also a few heros here too. Their not as strong as the Hero's of Justice but their still dangerous …here take this."
Toni throws a pistol into Mimorias lap…she stares at it then turns to him in confusion
Mimoria: "What's this for?!"
Toni: "Incase you need to protect yourself…and also we're going to be wearing these…"
He throws a janitor outfit on her lap…she looks down at it and shudders at the smell of it…
Toni: "We will pose as janitors and make our way up to there file room or whatever and find anything related to your father."
Mimoria: "A-alright then…let's try our best…"

They step out the car behind the Nier facility wearing the Janitor uniforms…Mimoria begins to hyperventilate as they enter the building with fake badges
Mimoria: "Where did you get these badges?…"
Toni: "My uncle can create or replicate anything…he's very computer smart so this was easy for him…"
Mimoria: "T-that's c-cool…"
Toni: "I can see that you're freaking out…just chill…everything will be fine."
They walk through the halls keeping their heads low…Several hero's walk past them chatting amongst themselves…Toni bumps into one of them falling against a wall
Toni: "Hey man that's my bad!"
??: "Watch where the hell you're going trash man!"
The hero walks off and Toni stands up dusting himself off
Mimoria: "Are you okay?…"
Toni: "That was RedHawk…the third highest ranking hero in this building…I planted a bug on him where I bumped into him"
Mimoria: "that's smart…"
Toni: "Anything he does or says will be recorded and instantly sent to my phone"
They continue to walk down the hall attempting to find anything related to a file room…as they walk down the hall a man walks out of a conference room wearing a red suit…he turns and walks down the hall…Mimoria stares at his blonde hair as he walks by…Toni bumps into him and the man stares down at him
Mochi: "Accidents happen…just be careful next time…"
Toni: "Yes sir…."
He continues down the hall and turns down a different hallway…Toni looks down at his phone and grins
Mimoria: "What just happened…?"
Toni: "I planted another bug…let's continue looking for this room…hopefully these bugs will give us some helpful information…"
