Chapter 44 - Chapter Forty-Four: The Declaration of Truth

The Emperor stood there, issuing a flawless, absolute decree:

"We shall verify his data ourselves."

Altair was returned to containment, reclassified as a witness whose testimony demanded strict validation.

"Are you doubting our sons, My Lord? They are your flesh and blood!"

Layla snapped with venomous fury, refusing to accept that her grand designs for her offspring could collapse under a temporal hypothesis.

"Ah... I believe him..."

Celine spoke with a soft, trembling voice, clutching her hands against her chest in pure fear. "Yet, I cannot fathom my son Silas committing such horrific acts... Eradicating an entire continent? That is impossible. He is as gentle as his mother."

But the Emperor's verdict was absolute and irreversible.

Instantly, the harem chamber violently fractured into two distinct camps.

Oria advanced with unsteady footsteps to stand directly beside Celine. Maternal tears still glinted in her eyes.

"I agree with Celine... my heart confirms Altair's sincerity. He is my son from the future! But his brothers? I cannot accept that they will all turn their blades against their father. There must be a misunderstanding!"

"A misunderstanding?"

Veronica's freezing tone shattered Oria's weeping. She adjusted her glasses, absolute order and rage vibrating beneath her skin.

"Emotion blinds logical perception, Oria. If my son, Caesar, has violated the parameters of the supreme order and rebelled against the throne, this high treason must first be proven with empirical evidence... and then ruthlessly amputated if validated."

"Science does not lie."

Eve interjected, her hands steepled strictly in front of her face.

"The DNA analysis is a 100% match. This unidentified individual is factually the offspring of Oria and Our Lord. Additionally, the future crimes of the heirs register as an unverified hypothesis lacking empirical backing. We require concrete data and physical evidence. I approve the surveillance protocol."

"Surveillance? Hah!"

Roxy smashed her fists together, a savage, predatory grin splitting her face.

"If my son Eris is playing around and slaughtering millions just because he's 'bored,' that means my training wasn't brutal enough! I'll drop down to Earth and shatter his bones myself!"

"Treason is a disgrace washed clean solely by blood."

Kaori muttered, resting her hand furiously on the hilt of her katana.

"If Ryu has stained the honor of the samurai, I shall be the one to sever his head from his shoulders. But if he is innocent, I expect a very serious dialogue regarding Altair's fate for his false accusations."

In the far corner, Camille stared at the ceiling with dreamy, highly disturbed eyes.

"Millions of corpses... rivers of blood... Oh, what a magnificent tragic canvas! Our sons are painting their masterpiece with the blood of Planet Earth!"

"Disaster! Disaster! Absolute disaster!"

Isabella shrieked hysterically, clutching her head and wailing.

"Dante monopolizing Earth's media is excellent for my brand—he is my son, after all! But operating an empire of prostitution and public depravity?! This will completely annihilate the entire visual identity I have built for the Empire!"

She then collapsed, weeping aggressively against the imperial marble.

Chaos, accusations, fury, and denial.

Every Wife championed her own agenda. Celine and Oria stood entrenched in fear and shock, vehemently rejecting the absolute malice attributed to the children. The remaining Wives fractured—torn between violent outrage for their own dignity and subtle, passive-aggressive satisfaction at the presumed failure of the others' offspring.

A violent crash erupted.

The Emperor slammed his fist against the armrest of his throne.

"All of you, enough."

The Emperor glared at them, his eyes burning with a crimson and black hellfire.

"I do not forge my absolute decrees upon assumptions. I will not incite a civil war based on unverified accusations. We shall deploy our eyes to them... the Nano-Drones."

The chamber fell utterly silent. The Emperor continued:

"Swarms of microscopic drones, exactly 6 nanometers in scale. They are structurally undetectable. The targets will not perceive them even if they nest directly within their veins. They possess storage capacities reaching 7 million zettabytes in supreme resolution."

The Emperor rose, his black mantle cascading with terrifying authority.

"We will monitor them for one entire month. If Altair is lying, I will crucify him on the mast of my dreadnought. But if the treason and tyranny of our sons are proven true..."

The Emperor flashed a sadistic smile, successfully freezing the blood of every Wife in the room.

"...then we initiate 'Operation Poseidon's Spear.' I will descend to Earth with all of you, and I shall discipline them... my way. Is this acceptable to you?"

The Wives exchanged heavy glances. The sheer terror of unearthing unwanted truths crushed their hearts, but their burning desire to prove the innocence of their respective sons overpowered it.

In perfect unison, their voices echoed across the vast chamber:

"Agreed."
