Chapter 34 - Chapter Thirty-Four: The Eye of the Emperor

Planet Xyroth groaned beneath the crushing weight of the catastrophe.

Metal tore itself apart, gravity inverted, and continental scrap masses fused violently, forging a colossal, planet-sized cybernetic entity. At the dead center of this reconstructing world, the Emperor stood upon a fractured piece of earth, observing the hideous metamorphosis with absolute coldness.

*BEEP!*

An encrypted transmission pierced the overwhelming chaos, pinging directly into the micro-communicator resting within the Emperor's ear.

It was Eve's voice. Cold, collected, and completely devoid of panic, utterly ignoring the apocalyptic scenario unfolding below.

"My Lord, the extraction protocol is complete."

Eve spoke, the low hum of the fleet's engines vibrating in the background of her audio feed.

"General Madi Roll executed his orders with absolute precision. He has successfully extracted all surviving infantry from the battlefield. Not a single corpse of our martyrs was left behind for this scrap to defile. They have all returned to the fleet."

Eve paused for a microsecond before continuing:

"Furthermore, all the Wives, accompanied by Oria and Nixia, have successfully evacuated via emergency drop pods. They are currently maintaining a secure orbit outside the exosphere. They are receiving medical treatment and are en route to our flagship. Your personal pod is approaching your coordinates now."

*VWOOOOOOSH!*

A beam of light pierced Xyroth's darkened sky. An imperial escape pod, painted in pitch-black and laced with gold, descended and touched down perfectly behind the Emperor.

The pod doors hissed open.

In that exact microsecond, the Emperor's smile expanded. It morphed into something terrifying, sadistic, and entirely unchained.

*My family is secure... Therefore, there is no longer any reason to restrain my output to protect them.*

The Emperor stepped into the pod with royal elegance, not sparing a single backward glance at the mechanized planet.

The doors sealed shut. The pod launched like a black meteor into the vacuum of space, leaving the fusing, screaming planet of Xyroth far behind.

---

In the deep vacuum of space...

The Emperor stood inside his pod, gazing down through the wide viewport.

Xyroth was no longer a planet... It had fully transfigured into a colossal, grotesque metallic face. It shrieked with the overlapping voices of the philosophers, generating a frequency that threatened to rupture the fabric of space itself.

At that moment, Veronica opened a direct channel.

"My Emperor..." Veronica reported. "The weapon for which we drained the blood and resources of Planet Orion throughout the invasion... is fully operational."

The very second those words were spoken...

*ZRRRIIIP!*

Space itself was sliced open!

The fabric of spacetime tore apart directly behind the Solar Dynasty fleet anchored in the void. And from within that colossal black fissure, a mere spaceship did not emerge... What emerged was a mass that defied comprehension.

An artificial asteroid!

Plated in gold and obsidian, designed and forged entirely from the unfathomable resources plundered from Planet Orion. This was the apocalyptic weapon. The absolute zenith of imperial ambition: The Eye of the Emperor.

---

The Emperor's pod approached the artificial asteroid, docking directly into its mechanical heart.

The blast doors opened. The Emperor walked with rhythmic, authoritative steps into the massive, darkened central control room.

Eve's voice echoed through the chamber's speakers:

"The asteroid's internal reactors alone possess insufficient capacity to fire the eradication beam, My Lord. The weapon is merely a hollow shell... It requires the Emperor's 'Pure Axiom' to function as its core."

The Emperor stood in the dead center of the circular chamber.

He slowly closed his golden eyes, drawing a deep breath.

*KRA-THOOOOOOOOOM!*

He unleashed the Axiom of Submission at maximum output!

His black and gold aura erupted violently, shattering the physical boundaries of his body. The energy surged like blood through thousands of conduits, wires, and mechanical veins woven throughout the entire artificial asteroid.

Outside, in the freezing vacuum...

The crust of the asteroid began to fracture. A colossal aperture iris opened at its vanguard, manifesting as a terrifying, cosmic "eye." The eye flared with a hyper-condensed crimson and gold light, illuminating the dark void with a glow blinding enough to scorch retinas.

The weapon was armed and ready to fire.

---

Far below, the fused entity—Aristotle, the Philosophers, and Xyroth—registered the cosmic threat locking onto it.

The planet's colossal metallic face unhinged its massive jaws, drawing every ounce of the planet's corrupted energy into a single, focal point.

*FLAAAAAAASH!*

Xyroth fired a terrifyingly condensed, corrupted beam of silver and green. It aimed to erase the Solar Dynasty fleet and the Eye of the Emperor from existence entirely.

Inside the control room, the Emperor opened his eyes.

"Erase them."

The visual plane split in two. The bottom half displayed the corrupted silver-green beam surging upward from the planet. The top half displayed the existence-erasing crimson-gold beam obliterating the void as it fired from the Eye of the Emperor!

*KRA-ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!*

The two beams collided in the dead center of space!

The galaxy shuddered. The kinetic shockwaves generated by the impact pulverized neighboring meteors and asteroids into fine cosmic dust in a matter of seconds.

The standoff dragged on; the absolute energies violently grinding against one another.

From below, the fused entity of the philosophers shrieked with a voice dripping with despair and hatred:

"Annihilation and death to the enemy! We are being erased!!"

But high above, inside the control room, the Emperor stood with his hands casually clasped behind his back. He smiled calmly and uttered a single word.

"Submit."

The Emperor pumped one final, apocalyptic surge of Axiom.

The crimson beam of the Eye of the Emperor multiplied its mass exponentially! It swallowed the corrupted silver beam in a fraction of a second. It ripped through the remaining distance and struck the core of the fused planet dead-on.

Time froze for a microsecond. Space itself went entirely silent.

Then...

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!*

Planet Xyroth detonated completely!

The colossal planet—its philosophers, its race, its entire history—was reduced to billions of shards of rusted scrap and cosmic dust scattering into the vacuum.

The Philosophers and the Xyroth race were permanently erased from the map of existence.

---

Freezing silence returned to claim the void.

The Emperor stood in the observation deck, gazing out through the massive glass at the clouds of cosmic dust that were once a planet threatening his empire.

On the auxiliary monitors, feeds displayed the Wives exhaling sighs of relief. On another screen, General Madi Roll stood tall and proud, backed by rows of surviving Orion rookie infantry and an army of mechanoids. They all held a crisp military salute, their faces radiating the joy of a monumental victory.

The Emperor turned toward the control console, preparing to issue the command to return to the Solar Dynasty...

But...

*Something... is incorrect.*

The Emperor ceased all movement.

Through the viewport, far beyond the scattered wreckage of Planet Xyroth, the stars began... to distort. Space was bending in an unnatural manner.

The Emperor's smile did not fade. Instead, it slowly began to widen.

"My Lord? Is there an anomaly?" Veronica inquired over the comms, instantly registering his silence.

The Emperor raised his hand with agonizing slowness, silencing her without uttering a single syllable.

His absolute focus was locked entirely on the void.

From within the burning nebula of cosmic dust, an entity manifested.

It was truly majestic. A body forged from brilliant, radiant silver light... a "silver cosmic entity."

Although its scale was relatively small, approximating the size of a standard human, its mere presence projected a gravity that crushed the soul.

The silver entity drifted slowly toward the Eye of the Emperor. It initiated no attack. It displayed zero hostile intent. It simply halted in the vacuum, staring... at the artificial asteroid, and at the Emperor standing behind the glass.

The Emperor's golden eyes, saturated with supreme arrogance, locked directly onto that brilliant, unknown silver light.

The camera slowly zoomed in on the Emperor's face. His eyes shined with the thrill of a new challenge, the sadistic, terrifying smile returning to claim his lips with absolute clarity.
