Chapter 10 - Chapter 9: Starting the Path of the Champion

[Triggered Script Main Quest: Summit of Indigo Plateau!]

[Quest Content: Grow together with your partner Pikachu, compete in the Kanto League's Indigo Plateau Tournament, and ultimately claim the championship. Pikachu must be used in the finals!]

[Quest Reward: Golden Lightning Badge (Pikachu-exclusive bound item) — Once used, all of Pikachu's abilities will undergo unknown positive mutations!]

[High-Grade Rare Candy ×3 — Instantly raises the level of any Pokémon below Lv.70 by 1!]

[Intermediate Potential Enhancement Fruit ×1 — Permanently raises the potential of any Pokémon below Champion level by 1!]

Yuuto quickly scanned the quest details, his eyes narrowing with focus.

The main quest had arrived.

And from day one, the target was set straight at the League Championship.

A sharp grin tugged at the corner of his mouth.

Perfect.

Rewriting the original story's endless cycle of near-misses and heartbreak by aiming for the crown right from the start?

This was exactly his kind of game.

What excited him even more were the rewards.

High-Grade Rare Candies meant rapid level-ups and saved months of grinding.

The Intermediate Potential Enhancement Fruit could shatter a Pokémon's ceiling forever.

But the real prize was that **Golden Lightning Badge**.

Pikachu-exclusive… positive ability mutation…

He glanced at the little yellow mouse on his shoulder, who was happily rubbing its cheek against his neck and purring contentedly.

The "Movie Star" hidden ability from Pikachu's panel was still fresh in his mind.

*Has a chance to trigger in battle; when active, ignores level and type disadvantages to fight on equal footing with any opponent…*

Powerful, but wildly inconsistent.

It could let Pikachu trade blows with gods… or get bodied by a random Caterpie.

Too much RNG.

If this "positive mutation" could turn "has a chance" into "controllable trigger" — or even "permanent partial effect"…

Yuuto's eyes burned with ambition.

Then Pikachu's future would have no limits.

Champion?

That would just be the beginning.

This championship had to be won.

Decision made in an instant.

"Yuuto? You still with me, kid?"

Professor Oak's voice snapped him back.

The old man had leaned in close, eyeing Pikachu on Yuuto's shoulder with lingering wariness while giving Yuuto a quick once-over from head to toe.

"You… you're really alright?"

"I'm fine, Professor."

Yuuto stood, casually stroking Pikachu's head.

"Pika~"

Pikachu squinted in bliss, ears twitching happily.

Professor Oak stared at the peaceful scene like he'd seen a ghost.

Minutes ago this was a lightning-wielding little tyrant ready to fry anything that moved.

Now it was purring like a house cat.

How in the world…?

"Professor, my Pokédex and Poké Balls?" Yuuto reminded him gently.

"Oh! Right, right!"

Professor Oak finally remembered and hurried to a nearby cabinet.

He returned with a sleek red folding Pokédex and five standard red-and-white Poké Balls.

"Here — your Trainer Pokédex is already registered. These are the standard five balls. If you need more, any shop in town sells them."

He handed them over, then couldn't help glancing at Pikachu again.

"Though… looks like you might not need the balls much?"

"Not for now," Yuuto replied, slipping everything into his backpack. "Pikachu prefers staying outside."

"Pika pika!"

Pikachu chirped in agreement and even shot Professor Oak a tiny, defiant spark from its cheeks.

The Professor gave a helpless chuckle and shook his head.

"Alright… he's your partner now. Handle him however you see fit."

His tone grew a touch more serious.

"Yuuto, you've chosen an unusual path. This Pikachu has incredible potential, but he's… special. Take good care of him."

"I will."

After saying goodbye to Professor Oak, Yuuto officially began his journey.

At the fork leading out of Pallet Town, a graceful figure was already waiting.

Delia had swapped her figure-hugging outfit for a light gray tracksuit.

Loose clothing couldn't hide everything, though.

Her full, perky chest stretched the soft top into a mouth-watering curve. The pants hugged the round, firm swell of her hips, and her long legs looked strong and toned.

The ripe allure of a mature woman blended with the thrill of starting a journey — an intoxicating combination.

"Yuuto!"

The moment she spotted him, Delia's eyes sparkled. She waved enthusiastically.

Pikachu's ears perked up on Yuuto's shoulder, tilting its head curiously.

Delia jogged over, cheeks flushed with excitement.

Then she noticed the little yellow Pokémon.

"Eh? Pikachu?"

She blinked, puzzled.

"Yuuto, I thought rookie starters were Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. Is Pikachu even an option?"

"Small accident at the lab," Yuuto said simply. "Pikachu's strong and fits me perfectly."

"Pika!"

Pikachu gave an energetic cry, cheeks sparking proudly.

Delia watched the easy bond between them and decided not to overthink it.

She slipped off her large backpack, reached into a side pocket, and pulled out a small jar.

"Here! The ketchup you asked for!"

A bright red jar with the familiar label.

Yuuto unscrewed the lid. A rich, sweet-and-tangy tomato scent wafted out.

"If you love ketchup, you're in for a treat every day!" Delia puffed out her chest proudly. "My homemade ketchup is second to none — I can make all kinds of flavors!"

"Can't wait."

Yuuto smiled and crouched down, offering the open jar to Pikachu.

"Here, try this."

"Pika?"

Pikachu tilted its head, big dark eyes curious. It dipped one tiny paw, licked the sauce, then—

Its eyes exploded with sparkles.

"PIKA—!!!"

A cry of pure ecstasy. The little body trembled with joy. Both paws grabbed the jar and it dove in face-first, licking greedily.

"Pika~ Pikachu~ Pika pi~~"

Happy little sounds poured out while its tail wagged like crazy.

Yuuto watched with a satisfied grin.

Just as he remembered — Pikachu's legendary ketchup obsession.

Perfect ice-breaker.

"Does it really like it that much?" Delia crouched beside him, amazed.

Her own Eevee leaned in elegantly, gave the sauce a dainty sniff and lick.

"Bui~"

Eevee blinked, savoring the flavor.

It was… fine. Sweet and sour.

But worth this level of madness? Eevee flicked its tail in elegant disbelief and stepped back.

The jar was emptied in seconds.

Pikachu licked the rim and its paws clean, then looked up at Yuuto with sparkling, pleading eyes.

"Pika… Pikachu?"

More?

Yuuto chuckled and rubbed its head.

"You'll get some every day, but not too much at once, okay?"

"Pika~"

Pikachu nodded happily and nuzzled his palm.

The last traces of wariness in its heart melted away completely.

This human understands me!

He gives me freedom… and the best food in the world!

Going with him is definitely the right choice!

"Alright, let's get moving."

Yuuto stood and took the second backpack Delia offered.

She shouldered her own, then looked up at him, body trembling with excitement.

Her breathing had grown quick and shallow.

Her full chest rose and fell noticeably, the tracksuit collar dipping just enough to hint at soft, pale cleavage.

"Yuuto…"

Delia's voice shook, eyes misty with emotion.

"I'm finally… finally going to be a real Trainer."

"I'm so excited… my whole body feels like it's on fire…"

Her cheeks flushed deeper. Her hands twisted together nervously while her thighs pressed and rubbed together unconsciously.

Years of bottled-up longing, mixed with deep trust and admiration for the man in front of her, had her burning up.

She needed something — anything — to release the tension.

Delia lifted her moist eyes, shy yet bold.

Her voice dropped to a trembling whisper.

"Yuuto… can I… have a kiss?"

"Just one… I need…"

She never finished.

Yuuto reached out, pulled her soft waist close, and drew her into his arms.

"Mmm~!"

Delia let out a tiny, sweet cry.

He lowered his head and captured her warm, plush lips.

"Ngh…!"

Her eyes widened for a split second before fluttering shut.

Then she melted completely.

Her arms slid around his neck. She rose onto her toes, kissing him back with hungry passion.

The kiss started tender.

It quickly turned deep and heated.

A soft, needy hum escaped her throat. Her body grew boneless, pressing fully against him.

So good… so perfect…

Delia's mind went blank, leaving only raw feeling.

Beside them, Eevee tilted its head in total confusion.

"Bui?"

Weren't they talking about ketchup and traveling?

Why is the mistress suddenly biting the man's mouth again?

And so… vigorously?

Humans were truly strange creatures.

Eevee decided it was none of its business and elegantly began grooming its fur.

Pikachu, meanwhile, was still happily licking the last traces of ketchup from the empty jar.

Completely oblivious to the passionate scene right next to it.

When they finally parted, Delia was flushed crimson, eyes glazed, leaning heavily against Yuuto's chest and panting.

"Haah… haah…"

Her legs felt like jelly.

But her spirit was glowing.

"That… that's enough…"

Her voice came out husky and sweet.

"If we keep going… I'm scared I won't be able to stop… and I'll want to do it right here on the road…"

She trailed off, ears burning red, eyes shining with unmistakable desire.

Yuuto gently patted her back.

"Long road ahead. Let's save it for tonight."

"Mmm…"

Delia reluctantly stepped back, smoothing her clothes and hair.

The spring-like heat in her eyes remained, but now mixed with steady determination.

The nearest city was Viridian — an easy few days' walk.

Between Pallet Town and Viridian lay a vast forest filled with low-level wild Pokémon.

The perfect beginner grinding zone.

Not long after Yuuto and Delia entered the woods, the true power of his Elementary Aura began to reveal itself.

The Aura of a nearby Pokémon bloomed clearly in his perception…
